OT: MGoBoard Colloquialisms

Submitted by Hab on

It goes without saying that every community has their own colloquialisms based upon their shared experiences.  And I've found that the MGo community is no different.  Though the prevalence of inside jokes isn't so great that its impossible to understand the general gist of what is going on, I find myself understanding what a poster means in some instances, such as when we post for the 'moms' to take some action, but out in the cold in other cases, like references to putting up 63 points on an opponent (generally Rutgers or MSU I think).

Given that there are still too many bloody days until we can actually talk about football, perhaps some of the older folks could post their favorite colloquialisms and some of the newer members could post the ones that they don't quite understand--without fear of being negged to Bolivia.

EDIT:  Thank you Seth for the link to the Glossary

Making fun of how fat Magnus is in real life.

Telling everyone that Magnus is a middle school assistant football coach who would love LOVE to be hired on in any capacity at Rivals or Scout, etc. but he doesnt actually know what he is talking about.

Unlike (perhaps) our friend Carlos, I can't speak to how spicy *this* weiner is, but let us never forget that David Terrell got the bomb-ass dick.

Wasn't there a Notre Dame fan that had a meltdown after the 2009 and 2010 games? Damefan, or something. Maybe I saw it elsewhere, but I just remember a bro in a sleeveless shirt going on and on in a YouTube video about how bad they would beat us, only to look completely beaten down a week later. I thought that I learned about his videos here. Either way, I got a kick out of that whining jackass.

That all started in September 2013, when Brandon Brown published an interview with a 2016 prospect, and got called out for his creepy process how he contacted recruits.

The hilarious part, is that the kid, Teryn Savage, has pretty much dropped off the recruiting radar
