Rivals view of NSD & Michigan

Harbaugh is flat killing it...thank god someone in the big ten
 
hopefully start pounding tOverated State University. The big ten is becoming a much more respected conference, good for them!
 

Clemson

It is hard to understand why he would want to play in frozen Michigan with a team with much less prospect of playing for the NC
 
I hope he enjoys that freezing weather up there. Pack some thermal underwear. He's going to need it, while our guys are practicing in shorts 
 
His loss! Now he's going to be playing for a jerk of a head coach who lies to recruits and rips scholarships away! Plus last I checked Michigan has other problems like punting and getting past Iowa, Michigan state and Ohio state ha-ha! Yet Clemson plays the near the most freshman in NCAA, has a Heisman contender, and looks to play for the natty again! Thus you would have publicity! Congrats on his decision but I don't think in my opinion it was the smartest! Either way look at it this way we have signed 2 5star def lineman in 2 straight years without him hahaha! His loss

B1G Media Days will be fun this year. There will surely be many questions regarding Harbaugh's recruiting techniques. A lot of disapproval out there so I wouldn't be surprised if something is addressed by either the B1G or NCAA. So many decommits and shady practices.

He is extremely awkward in any social situation.  I really don't know how he keeps his shit together with these recruits and connects with them. But...he pulled in a good class somehow.  Some of it is probably the allure of bringing Michigan back to prominence but some of it HAS to be Hairbum right?

Is just exactly what the doctor ordered. There needs to be "hate" and sparks between school, coaches and players. The player's and school's hate hadn't dwindled but never felt that our last two coaches felt it. RR for obvious reasons, Hoke only saying "Ohio" just didn't seem to cut it, the apology to Sparty and the chicken jab to Notre Dame on their way out just didn't do anything to help feed the beast that is, a rivalry. Despite the lack of success in the win column this season with our rivals, like the last two coaches, Harbaugh has still managed to get under the skin of not only our rivals but that of many other coaches for both valid and trivial reasons. Michigan is well on its way to feeling complete again. I can't wait for this upcoming season to see how Harbaugh will carry this momentum

Who cares what USC, Clemson, MSU and OSU fans think? I clicked on this thinking it was a link to a Rival's website article on SOTS. I was disappointed to see a thread about how fans of other universities reacted.  Since when do we care?

Nobody knows much about their new coach. He's an unknown. Like Brady Hoke, was a successful assistant who the players really like. Unlike Hoke, he's never actually been a HC outside of being an interim. Even as an interim he had pretty limited success (beat bad teams and lost to good teams). It will be very interesting to see what USC can do with him. UCLA is out-recruiting them and if that translates to the field, he won't be there long.

In fairness, and this is gonna sting, they seem far more concerned with putting Urban Cryer in his place than slamming JH - which is unfortunately a pretty accurate summation of where the programs have been, relatively, for the past decade.

I feel certain they'll hate JH & Michigan plenty in a couple years!!!

Love it when a school claims to be tough and then proceed to admit that they can't handle it when it gets a little chilly.  I guess their players would refuse to play for the Patriots, Giants, Jets, Steelers, Browns, Packers, Broncos, Bills, etc. at the next level.

For the same reasons, I tend to stay away from Message Boards of others, but here I am @ 3:25 a.m. in Mexico following this thread to this page until you brought me back to my senses. I stay away from those boards because, in general, they piss me off. And it's usually the hypocrisy that pisses me off. OSU and MSU seem to foget, conveniently, they are 1 and 2 all time in-conference, in terms of NCAA violations.

I'm afraid of letting loose another tirade, so I will say thank you for slapping me back to my senses - albeit probably only temporary and wish all a great morning and remainder of Feb 4. Great Day to be blue and on that, Go Blue!!!!

The salt over on that board is impressive.  Even when they beat us, go further than us, they still dwell on what we do.  Hart may not have made the smartest comment with the whole "little brother" thing, but year and year out, they sure look up to us just like a big brother no matter what they may be doing on the field.

What really is annoying is them talking about the chadtough part of the program. Saying things like I did not watch any of it, but i doubt they even talked about him. How all the money they raised will go to pay the guests.

There was some comments about how every day we are posting about them. 

This is the first thread in days that has even mentioned a rival. 

Did this even get posted anywhere today?  I did not see it?

He made the comment in Carr's last year without a ton of talent coming back.  If he would have said it any year between 1968 and 2006, he would've been okay because the team consistently proved to be better and could back up the talk.  He spoke the truth and the all the Sparty players moaning on Twitter yesterday proved he was right.

Dudes, it's hardly even snowed this year, it's not a big deal when it does, and believe it or not, some people like it. I'm pretty sure Clemson has received more snowfall this year than Ann Arbor has. That one snow storm that went through there dropped quite a bit and we haven't been hit hard at all yet.

hes incredibly awkward.  hes awesome and honest and passionate and dedicated and insane and everything else which draws recruits / fans in (and he wins a lot too which helps) but hes certainly a little awkward.  nothing wrong with it.  its just a fact.  some of the best people are slightly awkward.  i dont see how anyone can deny harbaugh is awkward in many situations

Eh, pretty much what I'd expect. Ohio State with the usual "Michigan is poopy heads", State with the constant "Fuck Michigan no I am not obsessed with them I hate them and everything they do but I swear I don't ever think about them did you see what they did today oh I hate them and am not obsessed with them", Clemson with the "LOL ZOMG snow", Penn State with "God, Franklin is an idiot, I am so jealous of any team with a competent coach, oh and FREE JOEPA!!!". Blah blah blah fuck them all, theirs is coming (in Penn State's case, again) but until it's delivered I'll just bide my time quietly.

I had a rivals subscription for the Michigan site during the season and even the Michigan posters were brutal at times. The quality of poster and mods is lower on the rivals site.

Also, glad to see other fan bases care about Michigan getting recruits and publicity now.

This never happens with any other geographical region in U.S.

Is it too hot in Florida or Texas? Too rainy in Washington or Oregon? Too crisp, fall-like in Maine or Vermont? According to Clemson fans, you can't play football anywhere besides South Carolina it seems.
