Hello: Blake O'Neill
Michigan's 4th incoming transfer.
Aussie punter Blake O'Neill.

Isn't he from Ziare/Canada?
he said guys not from the U.S. and Canada.
He's from Zaire, now known as Congo. Then moved to Canada.
Was actually born in the Republic of Congo. He moved to Canada as a kid.
I suppose his "hometown" would still be Canadian, but it actually wasn't his birthplace.

Kashama actually was born in the Democratic Republic of Congo, not the Republic of Congo. Two separate countries. The DR Congo is the one that used to be called Zaire.
Nice correction. My fault on that one.
Junior (2014) ... Big Sky Academic All- Conference ... played in all 12 games at punter ... finished the year sixth nationally in punting average (44.1 avg.) ... the 44.1-yard average set a single-season school record ... punted 62 times for 2,737 yards ... had a career-best punt of 74 yards against Cal Poly ... boomed 18 punts of 50 or more yards and placed 25 punts inside the 20 yard line... converted two fake punts during the season ... rushed 23 yards for a first down at Montana State and tossed a 17-yard completion for a first down in that same game.
This is going to be a big weapon to have come this fall. Field position+a good defense will help alleviate some of the problems the offense may have.
A spread punt formation that allows for more than Dennis Norfleet running full speed at the return man to make a tackle for short or no gain.
THAT will be the real weapon.
Jeez Hoke, jeez.
Obligatory II
Anyway, welcome to Michigan!
JH continues to upgrade the roster!
FINALLY ANOTHER AUSTRALIAN!!!!!!!!!
So even though he's only played one year of CFB, he still only has one year of eligibility left, correct?
IIRC the eligibility clock starts ticking when you begin taking classes in college, regardless of whether you're actually making use of it.
Wait so I can't walk on to the basketball team while getting my masters?

I heard the Outback isn't really similiar to Australian cuisine. Your thoughts??
can someone explain how this is supposed to impact our special teams. spread punt? is it pretty set that he will be our starter?
Of all the 1st world nations, Australians are the most likely to have sex on a first date.
So I should definitely ask out that Australian barrista at my local Starbucks? Duly noted.
After losing both Hagerup and Wile, it's nice to have Allen, a couple of walk-ons and this kid to go along with the incoming freshman kicker Andrew David.
I feel like we now have 3 guys who will really compete and hold their own at the 3 kicking positions.
...we're going to need a P in this recruiting class to pair with David next year.
Hopefully, Quinn Norden from Rockford
Special teamssssssss! We have them!
Anyone know how many years of eligibility this dude has?
This is offensive. I flew here IN the plane. Just because I'm an animal doesn't mean I'm dirty!!!
Except for the Chlamydia.
Your fine as long as you dont bang me or suckle my breast.
Fuck it. That's what antibiotics are for.
aww!
i had high hopes for virtual punter, but hopefully whoever wins the starting job has a great season.
I don't know if I've ever seen a punter reliably down so many inside the 20 as Virtual Punter did. Machine-like consistency, that guy.
Possible starters this year that transfered to Michigan
Punter: O'Neill
Running Back: Isaac
Quarterback: Rudock
Defensive Back: Lyons
And there has been rumors of maybe getting a wide receiver transfer!!!
Wait, this is the first I've heard of a wide receiver transfer. Everybody on that list had been talked about for at least a month before they officially transferred. Who is the potential wide receiver transfer?
