I’m not in HR, but I believe the policy would be to write him up for inappropriate behavior and put it in his file.

11/20/2018 - 8:44pm It is amazing how the top…

It is amazing how the top ten have distanced themselves from the rest. Here in week 12, 9 of the top 10 teams have 1 or fewer losses. By week 11 of 2016 and 2017 only 6 teams had 1 or fewer losses and by week 12 of 2016 only five such teams remained.

11/20/2018 - 12:04pm Technically the ground…

Technically the ground killed him (with an assist from gravity). Kelly just forced the guy to go up on the lift and let the chips fall (no pun intended) where they may.

11/18/2018 - 10:41pm The idea of modifying rather…

The idea of modifying rather than eliminating makes sense to me. I am particularly interested in the idea of playing with how the engagement occurs. There are some unique ways to modify such as having some of the kickoff team located at various points downfield at the kick, but still say 3-4 guys back to keep the onside kick a viable option.

IMO, every team in the country thinks they match up better against Not Alabama.

Are you crazy or just plain stupid?

Agreed. It’s nice to have someone like Klatt making this point so the coaches aren’t put in the position of having to argue with the Finebaums of the world.

11/01/2018 - 8:09pm Maybe, but if it is a…

Maybe, but if it is a situation where the defense is expecting run, then maybe it doesn’t matter. If Martell can throw a few passes it would keep teams relatively honest.

10/30/2018 - 8:16pm Unfortunately you are…

Unfortunately you are probably right. We have to root for Alabama since the committee is almost certainly going to keep them in the top 4. If LSU has 2 losses then we probably control our own destiny.

10/07/2018 - 4:23pm I agree they don’t look like…

I agree they don’t look like an 8-4 of 7-5 team, but they do have a tough schedule down the stretch. I think that 8-4 is at least as likely as 11-1 and a playoff contender. Most likely we end up somewhere in between at 10-2 or 9-3, ranked in the 10-15 range and a good bowl game. Of course my hope is that they continue to improve, build momentum and have a special end to the season.

No word yet. Would be great to get him back for the meat of the schedule.

10/05/2018 - 7:17pm Meh, I thought it looked…

Meh, I thought it looked more like he was just frustrated in general that the offense was underperforming, himself included.

10/05/2018 - 7:05pm Do you not have anything…

Do you not have anything better to do than race to get the first post on every thread...and always a negative post at that? Do you really think you are doing us all a favor being the negative Nancy on every thread?

10/02/2018 - 12:44pm Nah, pretty likely that…

Nah, pretty likely that whoever we play in the Conf Champ game would not be as tough as PSU or OSU.

10/01/2018 - 8:03am This isn’t real surprising…

This isn’t real surprising. We played like a team ranked in the mid-20s. We still play 4 teams in the top 20, so 7-5 is still a real possibility. Now if we can play like a top 10 team (and I believe we have the talent to do it), then we are looking at a much more special season.

09/30/2018 - 8:47pm This was my initial take. It…

This was my initial take. It seemed like the playcalling was fine, but penalties and missed opportunities short circuited a lot of the drives.

If I understand correctly, she is getting her undergrad degree at Ball State, and then applying to Michigan for a grad program. Is that right? If that’s the case, then she wouldn’t technically be transferring any credits, so as long as she gets accepted into the grad program, she is fine.
As an aside, I took physics 1 and 2 at WMU in the summer one year and had no problem transferring the credits to UofM.

Since we're neg banging...the app needs to be improved too. Definitely not optimized. I'll also admit that when there is big news, I go elsewhere since this site is often crashed. Now to be fair, I still check back here when things cool down for the solid content you get.

Huh, didn't realize he was still playing! Good for him, but go Broncos!

11/12/2016 - 12:08pm I get the feeling he has

I get the feeling he has moved on from the season and just wants to get healthy for the draft at this point. I can't say I blame him.

11/07/2016 - 9:38pm If OSU loses again, then we

If OSU loses again, then we are essentially guaranteed a spot in the B1G championship game. I am ok with that. Plus I love to watch OSU lose (which sadly has been a rarity of late).

It would be fascinating to be able to listen in on the coaches' headset conversations during the game.

I have a boat, can you row me, Focker?

10/12/2016 - 10:05am That's cool, but why storm

That's cool, but why storm the field for a blowout win against Illinois?

10/02/2016 - 5:13pm If Wisky loses 2 more, it

If Wisky loses 2 more, it will be to OSU, then either us or OSU again in the conf championship game. I think that leaves them well within the fringe of the top 25, probably top 15 with a good bowl win.

09/30/2016 - 11:29am Scenario 1 is pretty straight

Scenario 1 is pretty straight forward. Michigan and Louisville would be 100% in. Bama and Baylor as 1 loss conference champs would take the other 2 spots. If you don't win your conference, it is very difficult to make a case for getting in, so Washington is out.

09/25/2016 - 9:04pm This is good advice.

This is good advice.

09/23/2016 - 12:31pm One of the Michigan alumni

One of the Michigan alumni magazines did a feature on this a month or so ago. They had a really cool picture of Harbaugh and Drevno sitting next to eachother after the Utah game, obviously looking disappointed. The caption was a quote by Harbaugh basically saying that after that game, he was concerned they might not win a single game. Glad he has managed to right the ship.

09/19/2016 - 2:23pm I'm pretty sure I heard he

I'm pretty sure I heard he was making over $1 million per year at WMU and has a good thing going. I'm not sure he would leave for a non-power 5 school. I hope he sticks around with the Broncos for a few years.

09/18/2016 - 4:47pm I disagree. There have been

I disagree. There have been plenty of studies showing that a team's record is not a clear indicator of the quality of that team, nor is it a reliable indicator of future success. In fact, preseason polls (i.e. when everyone's record is 0-0) are a better indicator of bowl game success than late season polls (which over-emphasize wins/losses).

It was a different injury, so it was handled differently. Either way, I don't want him to play against a cupcake unless he is 100% good to go. That said, I hope he is 100% good to go this week!

MSU 12

If FSU loses tonight, I think OSU and UM slide up to the 3 and 4 spots with Ole Miss sliding into the 5 spot.

I am pumped.  I have played IM championships at Crisler, but this will be my first time on the field at Michigan stadium "legally" (rushed the field once after a win over OSU my sophomore year, and snuck in once after too many Irish car bombs at Conor O'Neil's).

08/15/2016 - 10:39pm Thanks

Glad to hear the wheelchair won't be an issue.  I figured they would make things pretty accessible, but good to get confirmation.

08/15/2016 - 10:36pm There is a minimum of $100 to

There is a minimum of $100 to make the reservation.  Basically, if you do both facilities, it is a 5 person minimum at $20/person.  If you do just Michigan Stadium, it is a 7 person minimum at $15/person.  I decided to do both facilities and gave away the other 4 spots as presents to family members, now everybody is happy!

08/13/2016 - 10:49am Who cares if he is an

Who cares if he is an official, trademarked, certified Michigan Man. If he wants to be a fan and considers himself to be associated with the UofM based on his history with the school, then that is fine.

08/05/2016 - 2:44pm I think he actually already

I think he actually already has his degree, so he could have transferred this year and still had two years to play without sitting out a year. I have zero inside info, but if I had to guess, I would predict that he may have some interest in coaching down the road. That would explain sticking with Michigan and Harbaugh rather than leaving. Of course many other possible explanations as well: great school, likes his teammates, wants to be part of something special, has a shot at playing time, etc.

07/27/2016 - 9:18pm I went with an HD projector

I went with an HD projector and am amazed at the clarity of the 120" picture, even in the middle of the day with the windows open. It's 3D, which is pretty cool at that size too. Plus it was the same price as a 55" tv.

06/07/2016 - 9:51pm I think the consensus of what

I think the consensus of what went on behind the scenes is that Brandon offered him the job, but in a very Brandon type of way that turned Harbaugh off from taking the job at that time.
