but Once Upon A Time In The West is universally considered one of the top 10 Westerns ever made.
Fantastic film, but not exactly under-rated.
One of my odd-ball underated favorites is Strictly Ballroom.

More just a "hey this great film still exists" type of addition.

Brick is awesome, as well as the Kentucky Fried Chicken-themed South Park episode it inspired.

Layer Cake is wayyyy underrated. It gets 81% on rottentomatoes but should be getting above 90%. One of the best movies I've ever seen. It should be considered a classic already.

Very dark film that envisions what would happen to society in the couple of hours we'd have once we knew the Nukes had been launched.

Titus, with Anthony Hopkins and Jessica Lange.
Bedknobs and Broomsticks, Angela Lansbury.

+1 for Bedknobs and Brromsticks. I'd like to add to that Thomasina, another Disney movie from that era.

I finally watched The Ninth Gate the other day for the first time. It was extremely cheesy in a few parts, but overall very good. This might be the best entry I've seen so far.
