Cryptic tweets by those who have recently left the program

What happen in the dark is gone come to the light

At the end lets take the road less traveled: the high road. Unless you want to get a panel of all the transfers together & identify the central theme of all the departures & since that will not happen let them speculate. Be blessed

We know what’s going on ... just can’t speak on it...

I know I am just supposed to be mad at Diagonal Blue for posting this but I don't like the looks of those two tweets from today.

I miss the old Maizen/Bluey....at least you had whiny, half baked hot takes in those days, or tried to tell us Beilein should be fired....now you've moved on to cryptic unexplained posts..its sad.

What is the point of being cryptic?

If there is a problem it should be brought to light.

Being vague on twitter just makes people sound defensive for no reason since they aren't providing any evidence or clarity.

Fuck YOU 93! You don't know shit in general or shit about Kareem or if he went to class or had any actual school issues and you sure as fuck don't know anything about what is or isn't happening on the team or if there are legitimate things to be upset about or worried about with Harbaugh behind the scenes.

There have been a lot of transfers, before, during and after what was, by and large, a successful year. The OP's pessimism notwithstanding, this is weird and at least potentially troubling...

There have been five. Two of which were bottom of the depth chart guys.(Taylor, Walker) Two more were potential future contributors but who hadn't seen meaningful snaps yet.(Singleton, Hudson) Solomon is the outlier here.  But considering his bizarre recruitment should we really be surprised that it ended this way?

I'm definitely raising my eyebrows a bit today, given events over the past month. But, I'm not sold that things are as dire as OP would have everyone believe. Dude up above on this page (sorry I don't remember who, and the site isn't very navigable these days so I'm not checking now) put it pretty well I thought. I'm not ready to abandon ship just yet.

My random guess is that JH takes an old school stance "if you don't like something, then there is the door" when dealing with any player issues or concerns.

Reading this - man this sounds accurate.

I definitely could see some of these players being told they would be taking care of and helped, but they interpret that to mean they will be coddled and handed playing time.  Then they get here and it is hard and they aren't handed playing time and the coaches are yelling at them - and all of a sudden, they haven't played a lot in 2 seasons.

And it's the coaches fault - then 4-5 guys experience the same thing and they bond together because misery loves company - and they go on twitter to cause problems and "get back" at the coaches/schools who they feel "screwed them over."

Saban is a prick to play and work for. But he wins and gets guys to the NFL. It's not going to work for everyone.

But sure, keep speculating from a couple negative tweets from players who weren't happy in the program.

I was hearing the same thing when Trevor Pryce, Jon Ritchie, et al transferred out prior to the 1997 season during back-to-back-to-back 8-4 seasons.

Somehow we went undefeated in 1997.

Wayyyy too much attention is paid to the goings-on of young men trying to find their way.  It doesn't have the impact everyone fears it does.

I was hoping people would have learned after the Notre Dame game.

everyone needs to calm down.  . .

I typically do not read players' Twitter accounts, mostly because I can't fathom the things that disgruntled fans sometimes say to them and it makes me hate the fans.

I guess we'll wait and see if something does come out. I wouldn't speculate too much considering we know zilch and therefore there is nothing to speculate about really.

Sounds like sour grapes to me. We all know JH is tough on people and some can’t deal with it. Why can’t Walker “speak on it”? What does he have to lose? It’s unfortunate timing with signing day coming but this seems like a whole lot of nothing.

He's got friends still in the program who might have something to lose if he "spoke on it"? I have no idea of course but that's what first came to mind when I read it.

Some people let loose in their exit interviews, some don't. It's a bad manager that assumes all the people that don't were perfectly happy in the job.

It's really strange and frightening.  My hope is it's not some horrible MSU/ PSU / OSU cover shit up type crap.  For all the gripes about Harbaugh, not winning enough, etc, etc, we all at least thought things were being run the right way.

My best guess if something is screwed up in Schembechler Hall, it's that there was some favoritism or injured players' toughness was being questioned and they were being pushed to return early?

Other than that, my BPONE imagination does not want to go down a worse path.

Harbaugh is a red ass so it wouldn’t surprise me if he’s rubbing a lot of guys the wrong way. It’s part of the whole, “Guys get tired of playing for Harbaugh” narrative that’s taken place before. Hopefully it’s nothing truly awful.

He meant (AFAIK) that JH *gets* a red ass - meaning he's intense more frequently than most and his level of intensity if higher than most.

Yankee fans would ID Paul O'Neill as getting(having?) a red ass. Maybe George Brett would be more familiar to most (esp when the pine tar thing happened). Mike Singletary for the Chicago Bears. Zak Novack (esp vs MSU).

I've seen this statement 2-3 times in this thread now and all I can think of is that line from Hunt for Red October about the classification computer trying to ID the "magma displacements"

You see, sir, SAPS software was originally written to look for seismic events. And when it gets confused, it kind of 'runs home to mama'.

I think these comments re: JH being "hard to take" after a few years is based on not knowing what the fuck is going on and therefore running back to that old, tired media-enabled trope.

If it's some serious injustice you're doing no one any favors by "taking the high road" and not speaking on it. If they want my sympathy, then they should say their side and stop being cryptic.

I wonder if this has anything to do with the linebacker that lost his shit when he was dismissed otherwise it sounds like the staff talked to kids they didn’t want and urged them to leave, which sounds slimy, but I do remember that JH has offered to medical scholarships to commits he deemed were not physically going to pan out which is better than most coaches would do.  I wonder if there’s real truth to this or if it’s bitterness.

So three people who left the program/are related to someone who left the program, one who was given multiple chances despite academic issues, are making cryptic tweets.  Clearly it's a flaw of Michigan and means the program is run by terrible monsters who should be shot into the sun.

I sort of feel bad that Maizen's twitter account got cratered because then he could just waste his time on there instead of here.
