Pride Comes Before the Fine
Have to give credit to rudywasoffsides for the idea in the fine thread.

Is someone going to photoshop murderwolf onto the spartan helmets.
October 25th, 2018 at 10:21 AM ^
But Murderwolf is on our side . . . isn't he?
October 25th, 2018 at 11:21 AM ^
Murderwolf is on all sides. Murderwolf is everywhere

Devin Bush is thinking...that's all you brought?
October 24th, 2018 at 11:54 PM ^
He does look a lot bigger than the boys in helmets.
October 25th, 2018 at 12:44 AM ^
meaner too.

Bush vs. the Rockettes
October 25th, 2018 at 1:30 PM ^
Actually, that would be an awesome add to that pic,... all the Spartys kicking like a line of Rockettes !!
October 25th, 2018 at 2:49 PM ^
That is what should be caption of the pic
October 24th, 2018 at 11:21 PM ^
So this is just Twitter with more overhead now? Cool, I guess.

I loved Bo, Mo, and Carr for the TOUGHNESS of our teams - Richrod and Hoke not so much or at all.
The GUTS Bush showed to stand there like that - as Darth Vader Dicktonio smirked, is a career defining moment.
Devin...you will go down on our HEROES list forever!
October 25th, 2018 at 7:31 AM ^
IMO, on par with the Stauskas kiss at Breslin and Wagner mean mugging the Breslin/permanently crippling Nick Ward.
October 25th, 2018 at 9:54 AM ^
One really overlooked player moment like this was Jason Avant imploring the team and the crowd to beat Ohio State in 2003 when he was being taken to the tunnel after a (pretty gruesome) leg injury. Avant was a really big piece to that team and I can see his injury having a deflating impact on the team that year and he really took it as an opportunity to motivate instead of pout. He became one of my favorite Michigan players that day.
October 25th, 2018 at 10:20 AM ^
Yeah that is a part of Jason Avant, and you're quite right to mention it.
In the entire history of Michigan football over 130+ years, I am not aware of any man who came from deeper and more abject poverty and who accomplished more with his Michigan football scholarship. We've had Heisman Trophy winners, All-Americans, players on the cover of Life and Time and Look and Sports Illustrated; we have never had anyone with greater moral courage than Jason Avant.
October 25th, 2018 at 10:23 AM ^
His life story really is incredible. So happy for him.

Devin's spirit animal must be a wolverine. I hope he goes into coaching like his pops, and as a Don Brown disciple, comes back to UM at some point to instill fire into the next generation.

Fines are like student loans. They're never over. They're only just beginning.

LSJ reporter was retweeting this photo as if it makes MSU look good.
October 25th, 2018 at 12:37 AM ^
That would explain why they are working at that trash paper.
October 25th, 2018 at 12:30 AM ^
I would like to see this with "Wheres the threat?"
October 25th, 2018 at 12:43 AM ^
Looks like a Spartan chorus line.
October 25th, 2018 at 3:03 AM ^
Does this remind anyone else of Jon Snow squaring off on the cavalry charge?
October 25th, 2018 at 7:38 AM ^
Now that you mention it....
October 25th, 2018 at 9:57 AM ^
One of the great "sword draws" of all time. Second on GOT to Ned and Jamie both drawing at the same time after Catelyn took Tyrion prisoner.
October 25th, 2018 at 10:26 AM ^
Does John Snow kick everyone's ass? If yes, that seems like a dumb scene. If no, it does not remind me of it.
October 25th, 2018 at 6:47 AM ^
Amazing, From the photo, to the sentiment, to throwing Dantonio's words right back at Spartan nation.
Great work, thanks for sharing.
October 25th, 2018 at 8:04 AM ^
The only reason for the fine is because JH called Dantonio out. Jim was like a dog with a bone and I commend him for it, Brady would have apologized for turf scraping and the fine never have happened. Go Blue!
October 25th, 2018 at 8:11 AM ^
One Wolverine against an army of Spartans. No problem. Great photo.
October 25th, 2018 at 8:19 AM ^
If Devin Bush was at Thermopylae, the movie would've been called One.
October 25th, 2018 at 8:13 AM ^
And still no discussion of the GREEN BONE
October 25th, 2018 at 10:58 AM ^
I can't believe there's a part of this I haven't heard yet, but what exactly is the "GREEN BONE"?
October 25th, 2018 at 11:23 AM ^
Second guy from the left in the OP's photo. He's holding GREENBONE.
And no, I have no idea what GREENBONE is supposed to represent.
October 25th, 2018 at 12:00 PM ^
I think it's a custom shakeweight. For practice.
October 25th, 2018 at 12:48 PM ^
Maybe he has a femer, and the only prescription is.....

Is just to make this into a shirt....anyone?
October 25th, 2018 at 9:43 AM ^
So...what exactly does "reprimanded" mean WRT Harbaugh and Bush?
October 25th, 2018 at 9:56 AM ^
Basically the Big Ten issued a formal statement that says Harbaugh and Bush did something wrong. Not fine-worthy wrong like Mork, but wrong nonetheless.
October 25th, 2018 at 9:59 AM ^
That part makes a lot of sense, but what's the point? Is it like an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty in a game that if they get another reprimand they get kicked out of a game or owe a fine at that point? I'm just wondering...why? Why a reprimand?
BAD Harbaugh, that was very very bad!
???
October 25th, 2018 at 10:30 AM ^
Was Dantonio fined? I don't think he was. I think MSU was.
Dantonio probably should be fined, or worse. Dantonio was watching and supervising this near-disaster. Absolutely no coach should have allowed this. I think if Harbaugh had been there, he'd have been stepping in to stop it. Either pulling his guys off the field, or running to speak with/intervene with Dantonio, calling the stadium police, etc. But Harbaugh was underneath the stands, off the field, in the locker room.
Harbaugh's reprimand was for his post-game reaction.
This really is on the coaches. Any Michigan coach who was on the field should have been pulling our guys off. But above all, Dantonio is a complete outlaw for watching it all unfold in front of him without a word.
