One of the crazier football stories I've heard in a while:
Texas Tech is starting a WALK-ON TRUE FRESHMAN in their first game tonight - and he's playing out of his mind. 3 passing TD's and 1 running TD.

Granted he wasn't asked to do much other than a bazillion bubble screens, but he was solid. 4 TDs, 0 INTs and 412 yards.

This is embarassing for MSU. It's painful to watch. And my goodness he was so wide open.

Let's see if the defense can get their point total tied with the offense.

Annnnnnnnnnnnnnnnndddd an interception....

I have to admit it took me a second, but clearly he's trying to set up field position for the defense.

Another pick for Sparty. QB had a dude wide open and threw it right to the defender instead.

How many picks has Western thrown? And State is only up 16-7?
August 30th, 2013 at 11:41 PM ^
As it turns out, only 3 INTs according to the box score to date. It seems like about twice that, but then the funny thing about the passing stats between the Spartans and Broncos tonight is that they more or less mirror each other save for the INTs.

MSU's offense runs one passing play - drawing PI. Which isn't working out too well.

Turrible.

...but I am surprised by how little I feel like combining Ro*Tel and Velveeta tonight.
August 30th, 2013 at 11:45 PM ^
- 2010: 6-3 over Kansas
- 2011: 37-24 over Minnesota
- 2012: 22-7 over Colorado State
- 2013: ?
might be the best State on TV tonight.

I can't believe Craig Bohl isn't coaching FBS.

First time poster, long time follower. Love the site. I love how after another turnover and short field sparty isn't able to convert it into a touchdown and the fans chant "Bullshit" after a nice defensive play in the end zone, like it's the refs fault you're beating Western by single digits. Typical 80,000 sparty fans.
