Holy Shit.
December 5th, 2011 at 4:08 PM ^
will wrap up his defection to us. Good thing Hoke himself gets a chance to talk to him after Meyer stopped in.

December 5th, 2011 at 4:08 PM ^
That is awesome! Lock him down Coach!
Yes, I am excited and using too many exclamation points!
December 5th, 2011 at 4:10 PM ^
YOU SHOULD USE ALL CAPS TOO!
December 5th, 2011 at 4:16 PM ^
Last person to use that many exclamation points? Dave Brandon. http://www.mgoblue.com/sports/brandon/spec-rel/011011aaa.html
Welcome to mgoblog Mr. Brandon.
December 5th, 2011 at 4:28 PM ^
Hooray me and beer.
December 5th, 2011 at 5:02 PM ^
This calls for a chest bump with Ryan Van Bergen!
December 5th, 2011 at 8:12 PM ^
No, a headbutt with Molk.
December 5th, 2011 at 4:11 PM ^
and FTR everyone, we do not have a spread offense.
December 5th, 2011 at 4:14 PM ^
Hoke coming to visit? Hope Ohio can handle the charisma.
December 5th, 2011 at 4:14 PM ^
awesome. the first battle for rr vs osu was for tp and we lost. in retro, glad we did. so far hoke has done great things vs osu on the field and off, with kalis, wormley, wilson (who didnt have an osu offer but probably would have gotten one). now to get dunn would be tremendous.
aside from childhood allegiance and strong family/coach influence, how can any recruit not wish to be a part of um with the tradition, the fabulous uniforms, the upswing, the world class diploma, and a solid, father figure coach who exhibits great warmth and care for his players.
such a great time right now to be a wolverine. hope you join the family mr. dunn!

My ex-college girlfriend never capitalized words to start sentences either. I found it very cute back then. Do you want to come over tonight, for old times' sake?
December 5th, 2011 at 4:30 PM ^
when posting from my EVO it won't automatically capitalize what it would normally capitalize like when texting. Sometimes I take the extra strokes to do it right to avoid these replies and sometimes I don't. As long as spelling is accurate and there aren't fifty commas where there shouldn't be I'm ok with pretty much any post. You should try it. It's relaxing.
December 5th, 2011 at 5:03 PM ^
Just having a little fun on this dreary Monday afternoon. Actually, I appreciated the OP - it really did bring back memories of the ex-girlfriend. Ahhh, the good old days. (Thank little baby jesus that Profitgowife doesn't read this blog.)
December 5th, 2011 at 5:37 PM ^
it's me, your wife.
little baby Jesus can't do shit for you now.
do you like how I'm not capitalizing my sentences? she's not the only woman that can do that! how do you like me now?!?!?
you better think long and hard about your excuse for still thinking about that crazy tramp before you come home for dinner tonight!!!
December 5th, 2011 at 6:04 PM ^
Learned that one the hard way...
December 5th, 2011 at 11:09 PM ^
trust me on that.
December 5th, 2011 at 8:45 PM ^
Now I bet he really wants you to come over for the night.
December 5th, 2011 at 4:45 PM ^
My ex wife. Alway's bitching about stupid shit.
December 5th, 2011 at 5:30 PM ^
negative ghost rider. unless you want to date a 43 year old man who got posbolivia'd for coming up with "ped state university" too soon for tender senses. but in truth sometimes my pinky gets too lazy to reach that extra inch for the shift key.
December 5th, 2011 at 8:48 PM ^
Your post expresses my sentiments quite nicely. Hoke has an excellent chance with the young man. To top it off, Dunn's cousin already has told him that they are not cousins anymore if he doesn't come to Michigan.
December 5th, 2011 at 4:16 PM ^
I hope Hoke will help him realize that a pro offense (GO BLUE) is where his talent belongs, but if his heart isn't in it then he should go where he pleases. If that is Ohio, then so be it.
On a lighter note, at least if he does stick with Ohio, he won't be able to bite us in the ass when he is blocking 80% of the time! :D
December 5th, 2011 at 4:17 PM ^
Bring out the double point coach.
December 5th, 2011 at 4:28 PM ^
December 5th, 2011 at 7:24 PM ^
I predict a TREMENDOUS visit, this is Michigan!
December 5th, 2011 at 4:21 PM ^
What I would give to sit in on that meeting! I wanna watch Hoke work his magic!
December 5th, 2011 at 4:22 PM ^
Brady gets in there with Bri'onte and his parents, and you know he comes across as caring and trustworthy. No way he bashes tsio, but he goes all positive about Michigan, Ann Arbor, our traditions, our direction, the university, Bri'onte's education, the team, the family atmosphere, etc..
Brady always seems genuine and comes from the heart. You can't do it any better than that, IMO. You can't fake it either...people can usually see through it, and if your past is checkered, then nobody knows if/when they can trust your words. You can debate this point about Meyer, but I'm pretty sure Hoke has no such problem.
December 5th, 2011 at 5:22 PM ^
Hoke's going to go in there being very positive, gracious and classy and avoid any negativity. If Urban used any of his visit to talk about the negatives of other programs he could be at a distinct disadvantage.
December 5th, 2011 at 5:25 PM ^
And when he drops trou and poops a big pile of sparkly gold right on their living room carpet, the Dunns are going to be sold.
December 5th, 2011 at 5:30 PM ^
Wouldn't that be a violation of NCAA rules? Don't tell Rosenberg!
December 5th, 2011 at 5:45 PM ^
Not if he keeps the gold...or gives it to Mr. Dunn ala the Newtons. ;-)
December 5th, 2011 at 4:22 PM ^
Tremendous!
December 5th, 2011 at 4:31 PM ^
Here's hoping the we close the deal soon on Dunn.
I love how most OSU fans still think that Hoke was negatively recruiting OSU re: Kyle Kalis when it was Kalis' functioning TV set - to say nothing of their own fans - who were doing all the negative recruiting free of charge.
No doubt that Urban Meyer's 2 NCG championships are a big bonus for his recruiting efforts, but the high-quality AND high-character kids are going to want to play for Coach Hoke. It's bad form to quote oneself, but the quotes in my sig from both Hoke and Meyer tell you everything you need to know about which coach truly has your back as both a player and a person. Not to sound arrogant, but that right there is the difference between us and Ohio.
December 5th, 2011 at 5:11 PM ^
You say its bad form to quote oneself and then point to quotes from Hoke and Meyer. Brady is that you? Urban?
December 5th, 2011 at 7:45 PM ^
2 previous NC's coaching at Ohio vs 2 future NC's at Michigan? Brionte knows the deal. If Hoke breaks out the vaunted double point, well, all I can say is God help you Ohio.
December 5th, 2011 at 5:32 PM ^
this is beyond amazing
December 5th, 2011 at 7:45 PM ^
Tremendous!
December 5th, 2011 at 10:18 PM ^
Somebody set you up the bomb, Urban. You have no chance to survive make your time. You are on the way to destruction.
December 5th, 2011 at 4:49 PM ^
I could've sworn that urban was closing the borders to ohio.
December 5th, 2011 at 5:07 PM ^
He snuck through on his jetpack

Honestly, I think Hoke has changed the tide on the rivalry. Hell people in Ohio are starting to believe him. Never in a million years I would have thought that. Selling Michigan jerseys is a good start.
December 5th, 2011 at 11:20 PM ^
Hoke's selling Michigan jerseys? Does he have any of the night game ones left?
