Dee Hart tears ACL and is out for the season at BAMA
Classy, the kid's life is over and you can only post a clipart picture? I thought our base was better than that. Dee is in my prayers and thoughts always.

Feel bad for the kid. Wish he would have come here, though I don't know if he'd be Hoke's type of RB.
Oh well, the path not taken.
i would not be mad if he never plays a down. a lesson for him and a little karma for saban. lets see how far a degree from alabama gets you, dee
Very classy. This is why the negbombs need to return.
I don't see how the post you responded to is not "classy."
Maybe it was edited.
I think you made the same mistake I initially made. The original post was negged and locked/hidden (grayed out and easy to overlook) just as yours have been. Since it was hidden I'm assuming you looked at the post right above it - which doesn't appear to have anything negative in it. I did the same thing and thought it was edited before realizing the original post was hidden. I've done that once or twice before as well.
For this reason I'd like to see Brian have all replies hidden when the original post is hidden as well - with the ability to expand the whole thread and see it as you can currently. I know it would save some confusion on my part and I suspect others.
A lesson for choosing another school is a torn ACL? You sir aren't a fan, you are fanatical.
an opportunity, for the #39 recruit that St. Saban signed. Dee Hart's misery is another man's opportunity. Welcome to the SEC!
Look, I'm not saying I'm happy about this at all, but I think the sentiment is that it's wise to pick a school where you can play good football and get a good education, in the event you tear your ACL and don't have a future in the NFL.
Again, I'm not saying that it's a good thing that he's hurt. I'm not the guy who wishes well our ex-recruits, but I'm not the guy who wishes them harm either. To me, he's just a guy who plays college football, and unless I'm playing against him I don't care much either way.
The point stands, however, that some schools can set you up well after college whether you go pro in football or in something other than sports. Alabama is not necessarily one of those schools, and Dee will have to live with that decision now.
I second your post, well put.
I'm not sure if there is really a lesson to learn here, but for a kid who said his reason for going to Bama was because they would do a better job of getting him ready for "the league", it's kind of sad to see a kid putting every single one of his eggs in that basket.
I like the fact that Hoke is bringing us back to stressing getting an education with these kids. That is really the most important thing here, and a Meeeechigan degree will do a lot of people a lot of good...especially if you're not the sub-1% that makes it to "the league."
Would that lesson be "don't tear your ACL"?
It's the old, you didn't pick my school so I hope all your dreams are crushed post. As classy as a whore in church as always.
If Sonia from Dostoevsky's Crime and Punishment showed up in a church, it would be immeasurably classier than this random dude's post (among others here).
I understand your point, but your analogy is unfair to whores.
Notwithstanding that I upvoted on account of your intent.
Actually, I kinda thought that is what the J-man wanted. I don't recall anything about lock the doors and keep out those damn sinners.
this is somebodies son and pride and joy. if you had a son who had the oppurtunity of a lifetime to play D1 ball and some blogger was wishing for him to have a career ending injury how would you feel?
Seriously, it's like those OSU posters who said they hope Kalis blows out both knees when he decommits. I will never understand that level of rage. Hart was a great prospect, and I was a little disappointed when he changed his commitment. Then I promptly got over it and focused on our recruits. Would I have hoped our defense held him to negative yardage in 2012? Absolutely. But being happy that he was seriously injured is just beyond the pale.
but I doubt Dee Hart's parents or any other parents really care about what bloggers think or say about this. I am sure they are worried about their son, care about his recovery, and couldn't give two wits for the likes of us. Just sayin.

When you need to start a post with "I expect to get negged for this," that's usually a good sign it's better left unsaid.
Kid was choosing between two great programs and went with the one whose HC didn't just get fired. The audacity!
Hope Dee has a successful career except next year in Dallas.
And your opinion isn't a bad football fan opinion, it's a bad person opinion. Let's gloat about injuries to 18 year olds who never did anything to us!
Can't the same be said about us for getting Bellomy to commit to us after previously being committed to Purdue? What if we get Azziz Shittu, Bri'onte Dunn, Kyle Kalis or any number of recruits who just decommitted? He decided that we weren't the right fit for him. Can you really picture him as our featured back in the new system? No wonder most people think UofM fans think they are better than everyone else. I would not be mad if you decided to chear for one of our rivals. One less UofM fan who thinks they are self entitled.
I'm sure the first thing that crossed Dee's mind was, "Damn, I should've gone to Michigan." Also, while Bama is certainly no Michigan, it's a good liberal arts school. Their starting quarterback was a Rhodes scholar finalist, which is certainly something I (and presumably you as well) can't say.
its not that im wishing him to get hurt. i do want to see how he does when he gets to play at bama. but at the same time theres no love lost from me. its the path he chose that led for him to get hurt, and he will always have to wonder "what if?'' i hope he gets shut down in the opener next year, just as i would not feel bad if he rode the bench for 4 years. thats what choice he made by going to a school with 4 rbs ahead of him.
I read that he was their #2 back and would probably start on special teams as a return guy.
I do hold a bit of a grudge because he turned his back on Michigan. However, I do not wish hard upon any person.
i would appreciate if someone pointed out where i wished harm on him..
The first part was directed toward you. The second is just my personal feeling.
I think he dicked Michigan around toward the end of the recruiting process which made me a little upset. Seemed like he had his mind set on Bama long before he decided to come out and say it. I couldn't care less if he rode the bench as well.
its the path he chose that led for him to get hurt, and he will always have to wonder "what if?''
Dude, he's playing football. He could tear his ACL in DIII. How would you feel if this was your son? Like another poster said, this doesn't make you a bad, just a terrible human being.
its the path he chose that led for him to get hurt, and he will always have to wonder "what if?''Right, so the fact that he chose Alabama over Michigan is what led to him getting injured?
Bama is not a good school, period. A lot of mediocre schools (fsu, msu) have Rhodes Scholars. It's kind of a racket.
from Alabama, and its a great school. Its not a top 20 school like Michigan, but is it a top 100 school with a pretty good business college.
Although I have to add - virtually all of my professors came from the Big 10, and a few from the ACC.
because you, sir, suck for that comment - maybe you need to get off the interwebs and get, you know, a life...
Talk about bad karma, dude. If I were you, I wouldn't swim in the ocean or go outside during thunderstorms.
He had enough bad news to last a lifetime.
What would you say if a fan of some other school said of Austin Hatch, "let that be a lesson."
You have a great career as an Ohio State fan ahead of you, so go ahead and make the switch—you'll fit right in.
wow a triple. and ive already switched to a different school. thanks though
@goblue418
You are a complete donkey.
Decent enough in Alabama/General South probably. Way to be a douche.
Hope he gets well soon.
Poor kid... hope he's able to bounce back soon.
So ?, This topic was discussed last night . Fuck Dee Hart.
Yeah, you're cool.
Again, Cubano is an IDIOT, have some respect for the KID and OUR fanbase! You sir, need to be negBOMBED into submission.
-Chet
Hopefully he has a speedy recovery and makes it back for our 2012 game....where he is introduced to Mattison's boys.
Theres a pretty good chance he'll be in good shape and starting/rotating for our game. I can't really see Richardson staying for his senior year next year.
