12/02/2018 - 5:25pm Good for him. I’m thinking…

Good for him. I’m thinking about sitting out the Peach Bowl too.

12/02/2018 - 5:23pm Boring. Who would ever think…

Boring. Who would ever think this rematch would make for appealing football?

At least we’ll get to hear lots of talk about Jim McElwain being on our coaching staff now. Media loves an obvious narrative.

This is what happens when you come up short. We could’ve had an entertaining game against Clemson, but instead we’re in the Bullshit Bowl.

11/24/2018 - 5:36pm I really thought this year…

I really thought this year was our year. The kids we're recruiting have never seen Michigan beat OSU (except the Luke Fickell game that doesn't really count). Michigan probably will not beat OSU again while Meyer is there.

Michigan will go to some bullshit NY6 bowl game again. No one cares about those games; they're just a sideshow for the playoff, where the relevant teams go.

It'd be nice to be relevant again.

11/15/2018 - 10:33pm Well there's a reason they…

Well there's a reason they kicked him out of Columbus...

11/10/2018 - 7:11pm Boring. I'd rather play…

Boring. I'd rather play Purdue or Iowa. We'll just massacre NW again.

11/10/2018 - 5:34pm Okay, don't kick the ball to…

Okay, don't kick the ball to Pacheko anymore. Can we all agree?

11/10/2018 - 4:19pm Yeah, maybe let's take this…

Yeah, maybe let's take this fucking game seriously please.

11/10/2018 - 4:13pm Yikes, Nordin on that XP. We…

Yikes, Nordin on that XP. We need to fix him.

11/03/2018 - 3:34pm Okay, what the fuck?! Can…

Okay, what the fuck?! Can someone tell me where this Nebraska offense has been all half?

Come on, Nebraska!

11/03/2018 - 3:28pm Well that'll be the game…

Well that'll be the game. Nice try by Nebraska.

11/03/2018 - 3:19pm Yep. That field goal counts…

Yep. That field goal counts as a "win" for OSU. They'll go kick a field goal and GTFO. Nebraska needed a touchdown.

11/03/2018 - 2:13pm I am chortling with glee…

I am chortling with glee after that Nebraska pick in the end zone. That shit was glorious.

11/03/2018 - 1:49pm I think OSU comes back and…

I think OSU comes back and wins this game. I hope they do... I want them to be highly ranked when we murder them. But Nebraska is sure making them look eminently beatable today... and as the away team, no less.

11/03/2018 - 1:18pm I disagree with this take. I…

I disagree with this take. I found Raj's Cutco saga amusing.

10/20/2018 - 10:41pm Uh, this Purdue team came to…

Uh, this Purdue team came to play. Legit.

01/01/2018 - 6:36pm Why? The O-line sucks too.

Why? The O-line sucks too. Drevno hasn't accomplished shit that would suggest he deserves to keep any sort of job.

01/01/2018 - 5:10pm Completely agree. I don't

Completely agree. I don't know if it's the NFL coordinators just using Michigan as a stopover or what, but we need some consistency and commitment from coaches. And preferably some talent. Please God, some talent.

01/01/2018 - 4:51pm Honestly I doubt Harbaugh is

Honestly I doubt Harbaugh is calling plays. I really think he's just a CEO at this point. He's the figurehead. Problem is, he has to find some competent middle-management types if that's what he wants to do.

01/01/2018 - 4:49pm A summer ain't gonna fix that

A summer ain't gonna fix that either, though.

01/01/2018 - 4:49pm Yeah I'd love to hear where

Yeah I'd love to hear where the optimism for next year is coming from. I get it from Ace - the blog has a preview magazine to sell in a few months - but not really from the fans. We're losing Hurst and (if he's smart) Winovich. We have no quarterback. The offensive coaching is putrid. There's no clear play-caller. The wide-receivers don't make plays (or catch). The offensive line blows. The team is mentally weak and folds at the slightest hint of adversity. Which parts of that are we supposed to be able to magically fix in eight months with very little coach-supervised practice?

01/01/2018 - 4:37pm It is embarrassing to be a

It is embarrassing to be a fan of this team. I no longer believe Harbaugh is the answer. A month to prepare and they ran that sludgefart out on the field? Harbaugh should give back his salary.

01/01/2018 - 4:10pm Everyone.

Everyone.

01/01/2018 - 1:34pm Are you guys ready for the

Are you guys ready for the field goal? I know I am.

01/01/2018 - 1:32pm All day to throw and it's

All day to throw and it's deflected at the line. This offense in microcosm.

01/01/2018 - 1:26pm Michigan determined to give

Michigan determined to give SC good field position to tie the game by halftime.

01/01/2018 - 1:25pm What a terrific third down

What a terrific third down call. Oh wait, nope.

01/01/2018 - 1:23pm This offense is just brutal.

This offense is just brutal.

01/01/2018 - 1:06pm God damnit, catch that

God damnit, catch that fucking ball and go score a touchdown.

01/01/2018 - 1:05pm Hey wait, you mean receivers

Hey wait, you mean receivers can actually catch deep balls? Shit, that's what we've been doing wrong!

01/01/2018 - 1:02pm Jesus Christ this punting is

Jesus Christ this punting is horrific.

01/01/2018 - 1:01pm FFS this offense is

FFS this offense is horrendous.

01/01/2018 - 1:00pm What the fuck was that throw

What the fuck was that throw

01/01/2018 - 12:49pm Once again, looks like this

Once again, looks like this game is going to be all on the defense.

01/01/2018 - 12:46pm Gotta get the ball out

Gotta get the ball out faster.

01/01/2018 - 12:39pm All day to throw and he still

All day to throw and he still couldn't hit him.

01/01/2018 - 12:38pm Apparently we're now good at

Apparently we're now good at turnovers?

01/01/2018 - 12:33pm Oh yay another field goal

Oh yay another field goal try. Love watching these.

01/01/2018 - 12:29pm This damn offense. Jesus.

This damn offense. Jesus.

01/01/2018 - 12:28pm Well that's one way to get a

Well that's one way to get a first down.

01/01/2018 - 12:15pm And Crawford drops another

And Crawford drops another fade. Also this punting is brutal. We need a new punter for next year.

12/17/2017 - 5:21pm Oh my god, this. I didn't

Oh my god, this. I didn't even think of that, but wouldn't that bring everything full circle? Luke re-establishes a cadre of Jedi that defeat the evil First Order, and restores their place in the new republic, thereby fixing what his father helped to destroy. This movie should've had Luke being all hell no I'm staying on garbage island until they killed Leia and then the last movie should be the ass-kicking of the first order by Luke, until he somehow dies at the end killing Snoke, and redeemed Kylo and Rey lead the new Jedi into the future.

12/17/2017 - 11:08am How has no one mentioned the

How has no one mentioned the magical yoda ghost that shows up during Luke's moment of crisis? He's been on this damn island for how long with nothing, but now he needs guidance and poof here's yoda to provide it? And he can summon lightning by snapping his fingers? Dude, Snoke problem over, send in the Yoda ghost and we can all go home. Why doesn't the Vader ghost just appear to Kyle Ren and tell him to knock it off?

There were also too many dumb animals which I think is Disney trying to keep little kids interested. The stupid squawky birds on Luke's island, and the racing cat things, and the moronically-named "Crystal Critters" that contrary to every animal instinct run into the base instead of into the mountains in the first place and then magically and lassie-esque guide the characters out the back exit? That seemed a little convenient.

I guess the Vice Admiral's death was supposed to make me feel something, but since she didn't have any character development or back story, I didn't really care. Flying magic space Leia was dumb - she's never used her force powers before and it took her like a half hour after being "dead" to magically pull that shit together? Agree that the whole casino planet trek was stupid and pointless. How did Finn's love interest manage to turn around her shitty speeder and catch him when those things go two miles an hour and they were going in opposite directions for five minutes?

Also I feel like light speed has become a huge crutch for the series. Last movie it was "light speed out of the hangar" and "we can go through the shield at light speed but magically stop before we hit the planet because I'm a goddamn secret mathematician/genius" and now they can just light speed through ships and destroy them? Which seems like it should be a true thing, but then isn't every x-wing a super weapon? We could've destroyed the Death Star with only one life lost! And yes, why did the vice admiral just sit there on the ship and watch them blow up the transports? The jig is up dude, at least position your huge ship between the first order and the transports to absorb that blaster fire.

Overall not super impressed with the writing or the movie. I think if it wasn't Star Wars!(c), it'd be a D+ sci-fi film that we'd all mock forever.

12/07/2017 - 6:04pm I think the league has shown

I think the league has shown pretty clearly it doesn't care about players in particular. As long as teams keep showing up for bowl games, no one will care that a star player is sitting out, because people will still watch and the cash will still pour in. The pressure for a bigger playoff is going to come from the member institutions; I'm sure the B1G and the PAC 12 are mightily pissed that the SEC got two spots (and all that TV revenue) to their zero.

12/04/2017 - 9:45am I love this. More competition

I love this. More competition is always good and a proven starter to round out the lineup never hurts. Peters was always going to have to compete for the job; reportedly part of the reason Speight transferred was bc he wasn't promised it'd be his. Peters will have his chance to show what he can do in the bowl game, and he has a leg up since he already knows the playbook and WRs. He's not going anywhere since the edge is his already. Anyone that thinks he would is just trying to foment drama.

12/03/2017 - 10:03am It makes no sense to assume

It makes no sense to assume Peters would transfer. He would have had to compete with WS next year anyway if he stuck around, with no guarantees of winning the starting job. Patterson would only be here a year. Peters is a redshirt freshman. You're inventing a problem here.

11/29/2017 - 5:36am Yeah, I have no intention of

Yeah, I have no intention of watching. This season was a disappointment. Don't need to relive that.

11/26/2017 - 5:51pm Guess this means Peters had a

Guess this means Peters had a lock on the job, which is encouraging, but it's still be nice to have Speight around as an experienced backup.

11/25/2017 - 7:06pm MGoBlog is always going to

MGoBlog is always going to blow sunshine up your butt because they want page views and to sell HTTV, etc. It's their business model. Fans don't (usually) want to read about how their team is garbage and will never be good. It's important to keep in mind that their posts may not reflect what Ace and Brian actually believe.

11/25/2017 - 3:52pm Well good thing we had a

Well good thing we had a bunch of recruits there to see why they should pick OSU instead.

11/25/2017 - 3:43pm Now the refs will call a

Now the refs will call a bunch of shit on OSU to make the ratio look better before the end, since it doesn't fucking matter anymore.
