This seems pretty obvious to me. It doesn't take an ironman to play 10-15 snaps on offense and spend the rest of the game sending in signals from the sidelines. I'm not even sure what people are thinking here. Practice will be too hard? The games certainly won't be. IMO he should be full time WR in games unless Denard gets hurt. |

I'm sorry, this just makes no sense. You admit it yourself ("this may seem unfair..."). "That's life" is not an answer when you are the one doing it. The point is, your system is just not as accurate as it could be, and I don't know why you would prefer a less accurate estimate. Every one of the people committed to these schools will be at least a 2 star, and 97 percent will be 3 stars. Why don't you default to that? The other option would be to take them out of the calculation, because they haven't been evaluated. Giving someone a very bad score because they haven't been given a score is the worst possible solution. Think about it this way: why not default everyone to -10? Because that would make no sense and it would skew the results against people with unevaulated recruits. Well, using 1 as a default does the same thing, to a lesser degree. Why not make that error as small as possible? Yes, I know I care about this way too much, but if you're going to do it... |

If Denard learns how to scramble, we will be the greatest offense of all time. In two years as a starter, he has virtually never scrambled, despite being the most dangerous athlete on the field at all times. I think RR drilled into his head to run the play that was called. Hopefully the new staff will teach him when to take advantage of the defenses' failure to contain him when nothing is open. |

I don't know if there's a principled argument that we should not be ranked based on what the voters should or should not consider. Nevertheless, we looked like a shitty team losing to Iowa the way we did and it's hard to feel like we still deserve to be ranked. |
