I agree it was almost definitely OSU led, and it would be hilarious if Day were behind it all, but there are tons of boosters, coaches, and bloggers that are much more likely to be at the root of all this. I imagine Day has coaching and recruiting taking up most of his time, plus I don't see him as a mastermind of a smear campaign as effective as this has proven to be.
If Harbaugh had no idea what Stalions was up to (I believe this), then Day could easily know nothing, too. Football coaches aren't the omniscient gods everyone makes them out to be. At least I hope not, those are so weird ass dudes.
If true, how is this any different than Stallions hiring unaffiliated "scouts"? The teams involved would have also "hired" in person scouts (other teams) with the payment being their own info instead of cash.

"Someone associated with the board" was the alleged leaker. The possibilities seem to be the school president, the AD, or an employee at OIE (unlikely).
FWIW, this is isn't a definitive list of who's going to be in the team. There was an earlier, quickly deleted, version of the tweet that left out "wish list" and the making calls emoji. I think that's where some of incorrect certainty comes from.
Seems likely there will be a M team, but it's still very much unknown who will be on it.
I lean toward passing because both the QB and WR/TE/RB get credit for the yards in the box score. At a glance it 'feels' like more yards, since they're kinda double counted.

I was also going to post the opposite. For me, being able to easily slow down the clip to .5 or .25 speed makes a big difference in my ability to see what's going.
So that would put Penn St at noon (UMD, Iowa, Indiana, Penn St) which means MSU is a night game? I don't know the contract details, but I thought two night games/yr is the general rule now.

Does this destroy their DL depth? There have to be several players in that group angling for a position switch. Smart move for anyone not a 4/5 star who doesn't have serious NFL aspirations.
Does anyone know if SP+ team stat profiles or post game win expectancy % are available anywhere? I've only seen them referenced or tweeted out by Bill C on rare occasions since he moved to ESPN. (Good for him, bad for us.)

It's so nice to have coaching that's willing to go down swinging for once. Sure, not all the decisions work out, but in the aggregate it allows M's generally superior talent to make a difference.
I used to listen when I was driving around for work all the time and it was so much better than Cowherd, Mike and Mike, or the local hooligans. To each his own. I appreciated Le Batard's humor over Cowherd's smart-guy routine.
Makes sense. My situation was unique because there were giant mansions w/ really long driveways on the perifery of my neighborhood that gave out king size candy bars, etc. No cutting between yards there, as there were generally fences and other obstacles between houses.
One Halloween I dressed up as a hockey so I could wear roller blades and go crazy fast. Worked great for the mansions w/ long driveways and hitting twice as many houses as anyone else, but not so great on wood porches after it started raining. The extra candy made up for the wipeouts, though.
