See I always thought pairing a bright color with another bright color was such an eyesore; kinda like how the Lions used to wear silver pants with their white away jerseys. I prefer a contrast in colors or the same color throughout the uniform. I hope the blue pants are here to stay.

The maize pants with white jerseys on the road look kind of pale and tepid.
The blue pants work well with the white jerseys and blue helmet, and they make the maize wings on the helmets "pop".

I'm of the belief there should be no block M on the inforom, not even on the front of the helmet. The helmet design is so unique that everyone knows it's M. And at the other end of the spectrum you have MSU who has to spell it out on front of jersey, along with S on helmet.
Understate it and let the helmet shine.

I loved the blue pant contrast with the white jerseys. I hope they become the norm on the road. Looked beautiful with the matte finish winged helmets.
