I think Blake is in for an all-time great season for a Michigan running back.  Love this guy.

I think he would've had less touches had Edwards not been injured for several games. They didn't have a RB3 and ended up riding Corum into the ground instead of passing more. Definite indictment of the coaches, they need to have the passing working outside of "when it's really needed". That's Lloyd level failure and was proven yet again to come back and bite you in the rear end when they had a legit chance at a national title and their likely Heisman winning RB is out for the most important games of the season as a result.

You tell them RockinLoud!  Harbaugh clearly failed by not foreseeing that Blake was going to get a helmet to the knee on that very play.  Unconscionable!  He should've had a 4th string RB in right then or better yet, just kicked a FG so no one was at risk.

he was already limping the previous games and plays prior, pulling up early and running out of bounds

those milliseconds/muscle contractions matter when it comes to getting out of the way, versus not (just like field-surface friction coefficients can have signinifcantly greater/less injury rates)

Coaches were terrible with pulling personnel out in blowouts.  Mike Morris trashed his ankle up 34-3 in the 4th against Nebraska.  Corum was often in far too late in games along with many important starters like OL, DB's, DT's.  No excuse for that.  Harbaugh has always had this problem of leaving the starters in 4-ever.

reconstruction acl-grafts are much stronger than original acl's

the real differentiator is the mechanics, non-contact ACL tears are much more likelly to re-tear (inherently poor mechanics/physiometrics), where as contact ACL-tears (Corum took a helmet to the knee) have significantly lower re-tears

I am not trying to turn this into a sappy message but these athletes put their bodies into some rigorous situations for the benefit of our entertainment.  Corum especially coming back for a Senior season to help and make this a special year for Michigan Football is amazing knowing what he has gone through the lest two years with his ankle and his knee.  I realize they have a lot to gain in this too, but watching all his teammates around him cheering him on has to be a special moment for all of them.  I am proud to be a Michigan Wolverine!  Go Blue!
