B1G West Update

Good news: you no longer need to care.*

With the win over PSU, tie breaker scenarios involving the B1G West are out the window. Regardless of next week’s outcome, the B1G East championship will be entirely based on the outcome of The Game.

*I suppose if you want to know who we’ll play in Indy, you could watch more B1G West games, but yuck.

When dealing with a juggernaut you need others to not piss down their leg. Frames throwing 42 times, Rutgers passing after getting 6 per carry etc.

You cant take a dynasty down with 1 loss regular seasons. You want them to crumble and watch recruiting start to match your on field results.

The West winner will be like this game: no offense, stout defense, slowly ground them into submission and go home.

Or a blowout if it's not literal Iowa after we played Iowa facsimile today.

Yes! We can root for Chaos scenarios now. I think the 7-way tie is dead, but a 4 or 5 way sounds good to me.

What Petitty deserves:

The B1G West will end with a 6-way tie for first at 4–5.

The B1G will send a team with a losing record to its championship game.

Michigan will be 12–0, and with its CFP spot assured, will sit out the championship game in protest, costing the conference millions. Its win in The Game this year will end up being its last Big Ten game ever.
