Who's Next? The strong candidate for this spot is definitely Lakewood (OH) St. Edward cornerback Shaun Crawford, who finally came out and named the Wolverines his leader yesterday after another good visit for the event. Mark got the impression that he may be nearing a decision, wanting to talk to his parents soon about where things stand. The timing of when it may happen is unclear, but it could very well be soon. He's the one player to keep an eye on in the near future. Could get my script cancelled for this, but I've experienced worse.

I'm going to risk my own "script" and say that TVH claims that "something is likely to happen within a timeframe of a few days to a week or so." An exact date isn't certain, however.

I assume the Mark to whom the OP refers is @Mgobluegr, Aquaman's partner in crime over at the Michigan boards on 247Sports. Shaun's reaction was in Monday Recruitin' in the form of a quote from ESPN insider:
“The schools are pretty much the same, but one is different with its faith and class size. To me the academics and what they do on the field is equal, but Michigan is still at the top,” he said. “I connected with Coach (Curt) Mallory and Coach (Greg) Mattison at Michigan. I want to keep building our relationship and friendships with the other coaches. That definitely keeps pushing Michigan more to the top.
According to some older pieces around the Internet, we offered in May and at that time Crawford had been here once or twice already and was already a fan of Mattison. The Crystal Ball folks point to Michigan as well, for what it is worth.

Any chance it's Eric Smith? Not higher rated than Crawford but he is from Glenville and there is talk that he and Lattimore are a package deal. OSU just got another safety in Hooker so there may not be room for Smith anymore at OSU as they have the same scholarship crunch Michigan has next year.
