At press time, Harbaugh had sent Michigan’s athletic department an envelope containing a heavily annotated seating chart, a list of the 63,000 seat views he had found unsatisfactory, and a glowing 70-page report on section 25, row 12, seat 9, which he claimed is “exactly what the great sport of football is all about.”

He probably didn't even go there ... Alums of Ohio State, from my experience, aren't nearly as terrible as the scum sucking, shit eating, inbreds in Ohio that are just super fans by the lack of sports team in that god forsaken flat corn field area.

Bottom line, Winston is a competitor to the end and a real winner. He reminds me of Trey Burke in that he is limited physically but can put a team on his shoulders when a big defensive stop, shot, or momentum play needs to be made. I like that he will forever have that chip on his shoulder - other guys are "better" than me why?!

Wow. Is that some revisionist history or what?! I would argue they had a golden period in the 2000s - better than us actually. They won a national championship in 2005 with Vince Young. The year before that, 2004, they beat us in the Rose Bowl for a Top 5 ranking. 2008 they beat OSU in the Fiesta Bowl for Top 5 ranking. And in 2009 they played Bama for the National Championship. McCoy actually is the most successful QB in college football history with a 45-8 record.

I wish I could hug you or upvote you by 1 million ... I am also in the early love affair mode with this team. Between Coach B, the experience of youth last year, and the return of stars I think this team explodes to B1G Champs and a deep tournament run.

I think slow and physical can succeed in a Harbaugh offense ... Look at Gerhart or Taylor. Never of those guys had break away speed. But they made the right cut and fell forward for extra yardage. I see Smith in this mold.

I am okay with uniformz every once in a while ... Light an all white road jersey for a game at Penn State per se. Or an all blue home jersey for a rivalry game. I am just looking forward to no more bumblebee stripes.

It's not about the name any more ... It is the mystique of the Jumpman logo that the kids love. The Jordan brand is now hyper-exclusive shoes. People wait in line for them. People collect years worth of versions. People save and sell them on the internet. It is that hysteria, more than Jordan himself, that draws the young new recruits towards wearing the apparel.

76 at Forest Dunes last year coupled with an 80 at Acadia Bluffs ... Big weekend that up north trip was. 74 at Red Run in Royal Oak when I was there with a member and some coworkers - dunked a 110yd wedge on the par 4 16th. Never had a hole-in-one. Been playing for 25 years - since I was 7 years old and a wee little lad with my father. Shot a 78 at the U of M course one time - that place is tough with all of the uneven lies. Anyways, that's my bests. We always do 2 off the first, no foot wedges, no mulligans, gimmes for double bogey or worse inside like 4 feet.

Sorry, but this is just pathetic ... Good = Well. There = Their. Not only is your assertion that the OL play is a likely question mark but you couldn't even express this opinion with proper grammar. Come on now.

Oh man ... You check out the Franklin BBQ method. You get a 10 lb packers cut, light rub, hickory chips, apple cider in the liquid tray. Run it at 270 which produced good caramelization. After 5 hours, before you hit the stall, spray apple cider on it a couple times to check the bark - make sure there is no soot on there. Once it is dark brown wrap it in butcher paper to seal the juices. Continue with the high temp to power on through the stall. Pull at 200 min. Best brisket you will EVER have - tender and juicy inside with an awesome bark.

Actually we were down 3-0 going in to the 6th. At the top of the 7th we were down 3-2 with Romero at 3rd with no outs. Kind of a different story when you're talking flow of the game. It wasn't some improbable comeback ... It was a mistake in coaching that could have resulted in at least a tie ballgame.

I doubt Spike is ready to be in that 8 man rotation after the surgeries in the offseason. More than likely he med redshirts this upcoming year. With him in charge of the team in 2016. Just my two cents.

I think that is a complete accurate representation. Think about Louisville - elite with Pitino. Think about even Kentuky - Rupp then nothing, Pitino then nada, until they got Calipari. Each program is just looking for it's next god-like elite coach.

I agree ... So much ranting about the need to keep things clean and simple. My god! You can do small with class. I hated the halo, like everybody, but love the idea of the national champs and legends listed on the press box. It is so blue and barren up there.

Prior to that play was the worst no call of offensive pass interference I have ever seen ... It was the right move to let the clock run out ... It was a make-up for Woodson getting completely shoved out of the way for the WR to make the catch. No luck in that sequence ... Just atonement.

He had the chance to get a FREE education to one of the top public universities in the country ... One that I had to bust my ass for - studying extra and working extra jobs to pay for it. Sorry, but I think I have a right to complain about a talented kid who didn't seem to give a shit when provided a golden opportunity.

Oh yeah ... Sorry for ripping on a guy who is probably going to make millions of dollars each season. Crazy to think we would want him to care about his college and teammates. Nice job getting butt hurt and protecting a soon to be pro athlete who simply didn't perform on the field and didn't seem to care about it.

Attitude reflects leadership ... That is how you get people to buy in to the culture you are creating. You stress discipline in drills, lifting, and dietary habits - you back that up by doing the same in your routines so the players (or employees) can see it. You stress commitment to the team - you show how you trust your staff and respect the players. You want people to stay late to study the Playbook or lift a little extra after strength training - you stay after hours to answer player questions and go the extra to ask coaches their thoughts. In a nutshell ... The culture you create is the one you exhibit. You show people what they should expect from you and, in turn, what they need to expect from themselves. You make the message consistent so everyone can see what it is and choose to fall in line.
