Which MGoBloggers have disappeared that you would like to see come back?

Submitted by aaamichfan on

Thread title says it all. MGoShoe is one who doesn't seem to post anymore. Going farther back, it was always fun to see MGoJen post something and there would immediately be 10 guys trying to stalk her and ask her out.

Which people can you remember who made valuable contributions to the MGoCommunity, and now are absent?

I remember people more by their avatar than username, and generally don't look at who is posting unless it's something particularly good or bad, but reading these names really brought back memories. It's amazing how many quality people have come (and gone) through these boards, and it's a testament to how special Michigan is, in that it attracts such varied and awesome discussions.

I hope that if I ever stop posting on the MGoBoard, you will all remember me. Not likely, since I doubt that anything I have ever come up with was that great, but I still have the photobomb thread. Woo hoo.

what a great time to finally get an account and comment... reading this makes me remember why I never bothered. so few with something worthwhile to offer, and i'd rather not go the route of BRCE and the like... looks like i'll just be another damn starfish and the only to know if a difference has been made with me or with another...

Also that guy that changed his name like three times and had the avatar of homer with the ohio logo in the scope. His first name was mommatheregoesthatman and then Lupe Fiasco, but after that I forgot what he changed it to.

I know I'm in probably in the minority but I miss Dark Blue.  His shtick could definitely get old but I think it was good for the board to have such a reliable curmudgeon.

I miss MeechiganDan, and Brodie. Of course, I also liked it when Brian visited the boards more often, and Sharik & Gsimmons85 enlightened us on coaching, and Tom VH gave great info on recruits.

But things change. I understand not having the time to live out this obsession with all things Michigan sports related. It still is my favorite website by far.

...were the primary contributors, they participated on the MGoBoard much more extensively than the current crew. Seth still pipes up, but overall I think that's an area that could be improved.
