If you don't want them to download anything because that is too hard for them, you could guide them through the download via Skype if you get them to "share their screen" with you. That's if they have Skype installed already, of course.

Very dependent on major/career aspirations/etc. Generally speaking, however, your final degree is the one that matters. If she is going to pursue med school / grad school / law / etc, Michigan is **probably** a better bet given the cost differential. If she is going to head to the workforce after undergrad, go to Harvard (but for engineering go to M). The exception to this logic is if her salary will be tied to her degree and not her qualifications (eg teacher, social worker). Then debt is a huge consideration. Of course, if she thinks she might meet her future husband in college, Harvard may be better in that respect as well (as far as average future earnings and social standing).
|6 days 4 hours ago||I thought that at first as||
I thought that at first as well, but we don't know the specifics. Was Da'shawn gung ho about engineering, or did he tell schools "he thinks he wants to study engineering or maybe sports management"? Does he *really* know what engineering is (as a high schooler, I didn't -- I just knew it had to do with math/physics/technology)? Would the CoE even admit Da'shawn (they have stricter standards than the rest of the U)? Maybe the coaching staff told him that if his number one goal is to become a top NFL draft pick, balancing the CoE workload and football would be difficult and he should consider the tradeoffs between his academic interests and academic workload (perhaps he likes sports management 90% as much as engineering, but it's only 50% of the work)?

|6 days 23 hours ago||I think you are on the right||
I think you are on the right track, but I feel like all "predictions" shouldn't take effect for 24 or 48 hours (or something like that). Otherwise, you get the Chase Winovich situation where everyone and their mother finds out the night before/day of announcement that the recruit is announcing for a certain school, and they all look equally smart in the rankings because they got it correct. Thus, they should only count predictions that are made when they are predictions, not reactions to late-breaking news (like you said).

Reason: Driving clicks to 247 like no other.
Alternate Reason: Analysts gain points for how early they make a correct crystal ball prediction, and thus these guys are hoping to strike it rich knowing that they can always switch to Michigan/VT at a later date.

I understand the sentiments behind calling for a Trey Burke banner, but he's no longer on the team. He is "gone", just like Denard -- I feel the banner has to be forward-looking and deal with players, coaches, and items that are current to Michigan.

In (whoever was the) OP's defense, Richard Deitsch of SI did tweet a link to the story out a couple days ago, which in my eyes gave credibility to the story (I read it when Deitsch passed it along).

|2 weeks 4 days ago||Eh, I don't think it would||
Eh, I don't think it would matter much: recruits are confident in their ability, and the (better) team offering the renewable scholarship will just tell the recruit "as long as you work hard and stay in the right, your scholarship will be renewed" the recruit will see no difference between the 1-year and 4-year. After all, how many recruits have their scholarship unrenewed (save Bama and LSU)?
|2 weeks 4 days ago||Are you dumb? You're asking||
Are you dumb? You're asking him if he thinks Devin would've been a better QB than Denard -- if he says "yes", he is insulting Denard. The only correct answer is "I think both are great QBs and great competitors, and the whole team was confident playing with both guys. I think Denard did a great job throughout his career and Devin came in and lead the team once Denard got hurt." Nobody wants to hear that political answer, so instead we'd much rather you just not ask a question that can only lead to trouble.
