16 weeks 14 hours ago	Maybe Ann Arbor's anti-porch	Maybe Ann Arbor's anti-porch couch ordinance is that effective?  It retroactively went back in time and protected all of those poor couches.  Maybe it's the color green and white but I don't recall any couch burnings in Ypsilanti (and if anyone had a reason to burn stuff it would be Normalite/Huron/Eagle fans).  I dunno.

1 year 1 week ago	The one that is with me	The one that is with me pretty much all the time - M-Hat IV.  It is the Bo Style Michigan hat that has now been to both the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans, the field of the Big House, from one end of Michigan to the other.  Fortunately, it has not joined M-Hats II and III at the bottom of the Detroit River.
1 year 6 weeks ago	Maybe instead of someone	Maybe instead of someone being a Michigan Man or not, we could have a Michigan Man Quotient (MMQ if you prefer).  You could have scoring based on several categories.  Then throw it into some arcane formula to come up wtih your MMQ.  Going to the University would have to be a huge weight though.
1 year 6 weeks ago	That is precisely the reason	That is precisely the reason why I think the NCAA needs to take a tougher stance on the elite programs.  The rationale being that if the NCAA will punish the money makers, the rest have no chance.  Part of being elite is that you play within the rules.  Cheating is not elite in my books.
1 year 8 weeks ago	Depends on what kind of goon	Depends on what kind of goon you mean.  If you are talking the Ulf Samuelsson/Claude Lemieux type goon then I agree with you.  If you are talking the Tie Domi/Bob Probert type goon, then I would disagree with you.  If you are a player like Torres and you see a player like Probert on the other side, you know that you are going to pay for what you did.  Since the league is doing such a crappy job of consistency with this stuff maybe they should go back to allowing fighting.
1 year 8 weeks ago	I absolutely hate the fact	I absolutely hate the fact that all of the Shuttles are on the coasts.  It would have been nice if they could have sent one of the shuttles to either Dayton or Chicago.  I can understand one staying in Florida.  I can kind of understand one being near LA.  But why should there be two shuttles that are maybe 5 hours apart?  Ah well...

1 year 9 weeks ago	I hate the officiating during	I hate the officiating during the playoffs in general.  It seems like they pull out another rulebook or something.
1 year 11 weeks ago	The EMU games against	The EMU games against Michigan and Penn State were by no means a good yardstick for EMU last season.  I didn't see the Penn State game but I did see the Michigan game (it was almost like I was on the field or something) and that game was not typical of the season. That being said, I'm not sure how many chances he's going to have to make highlight reel type catches since EMU as it currently stands is a running offense.  I think Gillett is a good quarterback but the offense is more suited to EMU's running game.  But Stonum in that offense might add a nice wrinkle as he would provide someone other than the Tight Ends that can catch.
