We have to remember that everything he's been fed is a deliberate move on the agent's part. He wants these nuggets out there, and nothing's accidental.
My wife is essentially the wife upon which the whole thing is named... And she has no idea that it's a thing. And, of course, if I'd try to tell her, She'll probably say something like "okay, have fun with your imaginary Michigan friends."
Kids are going to their aunt's house for the day. AND THERE WAS MUCH REJOICING
What started as outright jabs became polite banter between him & I over the years. It's funny-- The dude was certainly crazy in those YouTube videos, and I'll be the first to admit I relished the schadenfreude at his expense... But, in a weird way, i respect how much he loves his team. He's part of Notre Dame week and I'll miss the interaction.
I think this is the first time in all my MGoYears I've actually read, heard, or otherwise found an acknowledgement of Brian saying "Go Blue." Hope is awesome.
I'd out his return at 10%, and even then it'd probably not be a good career move. That injury is a long road to recovery just to become fully functional let alone playing quarterback.
Today's MRI might be the most important medical imaging procedure in the history of Ohio medicine.
That today's strip has little to do with Saturday's game and much more to do with the reactions following it.
The last panel was originally sketched with Borges still "x-eyed," as it were, and Glenn saying something along the lines of "Okay, is it fixed yet?" or something to that effect.
I wanted more of a punchline there, and something less grim. But yes, I should make it clear that I'm not at all in the FIRE BORGES camp and did this strip not to support such claims, but maybe ridicule it just a bit.
Has traditionally been at the corner of the stadium near Gate E-- looks like NK, NJ, NL, somewhere in there as I look at the chart. However I thought I remember reading somewhere that there was increasing plans to move visitor seating to the upper level in the North end zone.
Last time I was there was the Sheridammit game, and the visitors section was still in the corner. I've been to tons of games there and sat all over the place-- there's really not a poor seat in the place. Once I even sat in the Nittany Club section once for a Temple game, where you can touchscreen your food from a custom menu (hand-carved prime rib, even ice cream from the dairy) and choose what quarter you'd like it delivered to your seat.
I think I'll be there this year... I'm about an hour & 15 minutes away, so it always seems ridiculous not to go check out our boys so close to home, esp. now that PSU's become less regular on the schedule.
Saw Seth post the barcos art on Twitter last night, and looking at it again here, I must say... not my best work. I'd take such a different approach if I were to tackle it again now.
I'm a believer of the thought that artists and creatives re-invent themselves about every 7 years... but that was only 4 years ago and doesn't even 'feel' like me. Straaaaange.
In actuality there's usually anywhere between 10-15 questions built into my "Six Questions" in any given piece. It's not some inside joke or even a marketing trick-- I just have a thing about the number 6.
Interesting read, Justin-- enjoy your day in the spotlight.
M-Wolverine, you're far, far, far too kind. The real stars of the series have always been the "profilees," as it were. But I think you did a great job of allowing him to shine in his own unique way and present it in a unified, cohesive package. Bravo!
From what I hear, that's important. Glad to see LSA get a little day to himself in the sun. I'm sure this place can be a dungeon at times from his point of view.
First off, just want to say thanks for 4 great years in the winged helmet. Tough as nails and you always came to work, and it showed.
Just curious, from one fellow artist to another... What's your favorite medium, and whose work are you passionate about? I know I've seen pics of you working in acrylic before, but do you do pencils, pen & ink, oil, etc...?
I remember an entire thread devoted to this subject a few years ago, and I'm a solid OVER guy. But the aesthetics just screamed under for this composition. Good eye.

For the record, the new banner was completed around 5:00 pm EST tonight.
The rando is, at least supposedly, quoting the agent directly. If it's true, he's not gonna get anything the agent isn't willing to let fly.

The only thing the NFL can offer Jim is mountains and mountains of money. And Jim's already got quite a bit of it.
But there is only one Michigan. Only one alma mater. Only one Ann Arbor. Only one destiny.
I'M GETTIN' FREAKIN' FIRED UP OVER HERE...
Is Six Zero?!
Not exactly brimming with optimism and support.
Is his destiny. At least, it's hard to not feel that way.

But I still call you a friend. In that bizarre, mostly only know you as an avatar kinda way. Bring it on Blue
This isn't my first meeting, but...
I'm Six Zero, and I'm a Michigan fan.
(Sits back down and bites hat)
I designed that tee shirt sitting on an Indian burial ground. Sorry bro.

You're blinding me with science.
Actually, I don see much science in any of this at all... But if it ends in Michigan glory then by all means carry on.
You just snuck back and added it to every one. Just because.

What do you need?

Could really change the look of an away game. And would probably look pretty good. Expect to see it sooner than later.
Your theory on the maize becoming less neon will not be lonesome... It'll enjoy good company with the Flat Earth, Paul Is Dead, and the Lone Gunman.
Thanks for that. Love me some Adobe Doodad.
About that Utah game. Let's all hope I'm dead wrong and need to pay more attention to the outside world.
Close your eyes, Newt
Are free to hate on me & my little comic and call people names as much as the mods will allow.
But I'm also free to not care. Thanks for reading.

Out of all you've done... Nice job
Missed you bro. Hope all is well.
I did do another shirt as you requested. But they choo-choo-choosed you.
Still ever the athlete. We're all truly blessed to have been able to witness him that magical year.
Fact that you took the time out of your day to express such things means a ton. Thanks buddy.
I been wearing this thing since Martin's sailboat was hot news round here.
I think Desmond Howard's brother Jimmy is gonna have a really strong year in the crease with the Red Wings.
End of story.
That's some epic work, Chewer. And a true pleasure to meet you. You come east and I'll show you around the burning town, haha
Stayed up late last night setting all that type, haha

Y'all just chill. Brian's on the MFer. He's callin' the Wolf.
We talkin' 28 Days Later runners, or Season 3 Walking Dead crossbow fodder?
And oh yeah, you're a jerk, you couldn't format a Zip drive, stuff like that...?

You're that guy who stands in the cereal aisle holding 3 and 4 boxes at a time studying their nutritional value, aren't ya?
Stay away from the math, son. That stuff'll kill you.
Good questions, better answers! This one was long overdue, Chunk. Congrats and enjoy your day in the limelight.

Theon may have killed all the birds up in Winterfell, but Brian's got a boatload of 'em. Which is impressive with all the kittens.
Fo Life. Fo Life.
Fo Life.
And he just wrote "Yesterday." I guess that makes Brian the Walrus.
Bravo, man... Epic stuff.
