OT: where is Irish???
Irish where are you??? have you gone into hiding because ND isn't playing as well as you thought they would this year??? i thought for sure you would have posted something in one of the many ND threads that have been created in the past few weeks but you haven't posted in 6 weeks since the ND game... either way i miss your level headed posting when it comes to ND football...

Unfortunately Not A Blue Fan is still lurking.
October 27th, 2010 at 6:47 PM ^
Oh c'mon, Not A Blue Fan is alright. He's got his allegiances a little screwed up, but he seems like a nice enough fellow.
October 27th, 2010 at 9:40 PM ^
...Not a Blue Fan is growing by reading the MGoBlog.
Soon enough common sense will take over for him and he'll turn Blue.
October 28th, 2010 at 3:17 AM ^
In the battle of the super trolls, I actually prefer NABF (though I'll never admit that to him...her? :)
October 27th, 2010 at 6:22 PM ^
Yeah Irish do your job, I found myself defending them a bit from time to time on your behalf. I feel dirty for it, too.
October 27th, 2010 at 6:24 PM ^
I saw him once in one of the recent threads. I miss his even-keel objective take on ND.
October 27th, 2010 at 6:26 PM ^
Maybe he's hanging out at The Blue-Gray Sky.
October 27th, 2010 at 6:31 PM ^
he got hit hard by some solid posting and is being held out until the second half of the season, where he will bring it strong. subsequently everyone will say that UM posters would have been pwn3d regularly had he been around on the board all season
October 27th, 2010 at 6:35 PM ^
6-6 still on target
October 27th, 2010 at 6:45 PM ^
i definitely encouraged your posting here. and i didn't actually mean the kelly comment badly - you were a huge advocate for him and i figured the whole thing had left a bad taste in your mouth. hell, the last two seasons for UM would have given me little to no interest in posting on other team's boards
October 27th, 2010 at 6:52 PM ^
no offense taken, don't worry about it
October 27th, 2010 at 8:15 PM ^
Tulsa and Army are not going to be gimmes for you guys, and USC and Utah are almost certain losses. 6-6 is best case scenario.
October 27th, 2010 at 8:38 PM ^
6-6 is not the best case scenario, ND can win all 4 games left on its schedule and they can lose all 4 games left on the schedule. They play utah after a bye week, coincidentally the week after they play TCU. Army is having a tougher than normal year, Tulsa has the worst pass defense in the country and USC is now being led by lane kiffin.
All 4 of those reasons could be game breakers in ND's favor. They played better than their record showed in the first 6 games; so far its been pretty average in 2nd 6, but there is still 4 games to play and bye week to rest up a bit. Not the least bit worried
October 27th, 2010 at 10:49 PM ^
Totally agree about USC. That team is a shell of the powerhouse from even a couple of years ago. ND has a very good chance to pull that game out even though it is on the road. Heck, there may be more ND fans at that game than USC fans since the bandwagon apparently broke an axle and Kiffin has come down with dysentary.

That's what happens when you don't kill enough bear and try to take the shortcut across the river.
October 27th, 2010 at 6:35 PM ^
lol still here mostly lurking, don't really have a lot of time outside of work these days, should be different next week
October 27th, 2010 at 7:05 PM ^
All these "haven't seen you comment on ND" stuff is well and good, but I'm actually less interested in pigeon-holed Irish and more interested in general-commentary on college football and Michigan Irish. Not just representing your team for the board, but your posts like everyone else. If for no other reason than to show Spartan fans how to be on a message board of an opposing team and conduct yourself.

What did you think about the Diaco presser from earlier today up on und.com. NDNation seems to be going up in flames over it. Made for an entertaining hour at work today!

"The veer is Diaco's El Guapo" may be the funniest thing I've ever read.
October 27th, 2010 at 8:15 PM ^
happy he owned up to it, ND probably lost to navy about a week before the game was played, thats the way it looked on saturday at least
October 27th, 2010 at 7:22 PM ^
Irish glad to see you back , missed your comments on the board.
October 27th, 2010 at 7:54 PM ^
Or whoever the guy is who made that video. I love that guy.
I appreciate having Irish around (as well as any other knowledgeable, non-trollish FOOTs (fans of other teams)).
October 27th, 2010 at 8:18 PM ^
Irish is currently at #3 in the Midnight Maize FF league, even though we made him take an ND alum on either side of the ball as the rest of us did with Michigan alumni.
October 27th, 2010 at 8:51 PM ^
Good to see you can keep a positive attitude about Notre Dame. A great representative of your school on our site.
Nice to hear from you...
October 27th, 2010 at 9:09 PM ^
He quit the Internet and became a monk.
October 27th, 2010 at 9:11 PM ^
I heard he was last seen on a crane filming Notre Dame's practice.
October 27th, 2010 at 10:33 PM ^
What a terrible thing to say.
A young man tragically lost his life, and you're making a joke about it?
Edgy humor is one thing. I'm a fan of it. This is another thing altogether....not funny at all, just tasteless and crass.
October 27th, 2010 at 10:49 PM ^
You can't show a little sympathy when a kid was just tragically killed a few hours ago?
You sure like tempting fate....
October 28th, 2010 at 12:35 AM ^
Too soon? Yes, asshole.
October 28th, 2010 at 1:04 AM ^
Hands-down, this is the worst comment I have ever seen on here from someone with over 1000 points/non-n00b. Shameful. Seriously. Yes, it's too fucking soon, Shirtless. Jesus Christ, what is this, RCMB or something? Come on- that's just really low brow. I mean, you realize the kid died, what, 6 or 7 hours ago? If I could, I'd neg you all of my points.
October 28th, 2010 at 1:05 AM ^
Agreed
October 28th, 2010 at 12:12 PM ^
And not offering an apology or deleting your comment makes you neg-on-site for me from here on. I will systematically neg you all of my points every time I see you for at least the rest of 2010. That is my only recourse on this board; I encourage others to join me.
October 28th, 2010 at 12:18 PM ^
I don't think you're allowed to edit your comment after a reply has been made, but yes, he should apologize for his remark.
October 28th, 2010 at 1:35 PM ^
I could not agree more. I just wish I was more popular so that I could join you, but i do not rack up points fast enough to throw them all away on that douch.
October 28th, 2010 at 8:14 PM ^
It was a softball lobbed over the plate, and I unapologetically knocked it out of the park. It wasn't in the thread discussing his death, and to the best of my knowledge, none of this dude's immediately family post on this board. I'm a cold hearted bastard, big deal.
I've been negged worse, I'm obviously not worried about my points.
October 29th, 2010 at 1:51 AM ^
No, you're a complete, unapologetic douchebag, actually. Who loves posting gif's and jpeg's. And rarely offers anything other than your shitty attempts at humor.
October 28th, 2010 at 2:23 AM ^
Holy shit, that definitely was not funny.
October 28th, 2010 at 9:42 AM ^
You add nothing to this board besides tasteless snark and "OMG someone already posted this WTF is your problem". Tool. Can't we get this bum off this board? He seriously contributes nothing positive whatsoever.
October 28th, 2010 at 9:43 AM ^
Boo this man
October 27th, 2010 at 9:15 PM ^
I can honestly say that Irish is the only person, product, or idea associated with the University of Notre Dame toward which I feel anything more positive than the foulest black-hearted loathing.
Welcome back Irish! (missed you big guy xoxo).
October 27th, 2010 at 9:50 PM ^
Gettin a little too lovey dovey for the domer in here.
j/k
October 28th, 2010 at 7:54 PM ^
