Huge miss. Coaches were telling him he needed to get in better shape and earn his scholie when he already had the strength and size as a HS Senior and we had a severe need on the line and were way under the 85 player scholarship limit at the time. |

Michigan would typically accept 3 or 4 accademic risks for recruitng class but RR had pushed that to about 6. So it seems like a few guys a year can slip in with minimum standards but it's not going to be a lot. That also means we don't have bare minimum standards like Duke or Standford that are higher than the minimum. Also FYI, also one of my good friend's dad coaches in the Big Ten and he has said numerous times that the Notre Dame higher standards thing is a joke and they can get anyone in they want. I'm guessing that means they have a policy similar to UM but who knows for sure. |

Classic. I like mixing in these multi-strip plots. Fun to see a story play out. Also, it's possible profitgoblue is running out of things to complain about. Constructive criticism is great but some people need to realize how cool it is to have our own artist doing a Michigan strip and featuring it on this site. Keep them coming. |
