a subtle over-signing game, Examples? (Perhaps I have given Izzo a bit too much begrudging coaching credit...) |

What does he feel are the critical differences between OSU and Michigan that he would consider an advantage when recruiting a state of Michigan player?

if you need it.
I am a CFP and have been doing this since 1984 - everything above is essentially correct. Be very carefull of the annual income numbers. Good brokers (if that is what they are offering) can do that - BUT you will work your ass off and take a LOT OF REJECTION. You can email me at ned@mmifianancialgroup.com if you want to chat more. Otherwise - best of luck to you. |

What could Ole Miss offer? It's in the SEC, fairly easy academics, a chance to start immediately, be the Big Man on Campus, warm all year long, and according to the book Meat Market: Inside the Smash-mouth World of College Recruiting, the author Bruce Feldman claims that they have some of the most beautiful and friendly coeds in the south. Who knows what that really means, but to SOME 17 and 18 year olds that combination would be enticing.
Recruiting is a strategic plan that leads to a series of take-off-the- gloves, knock down, no holds barred street fights. It's never over. But then, that's part of the intrigue, isn't it?

We ma never see a phenomenon like Denard in our lifetimes (hope I'm wrong). I think a special "Thanks" is fitting. |
| 24 weeks 5 days ago | Say what you want about Rodriguez... |
He brought us the most exciting Michgian player in decades. Denard is the brightest star in the worst drought in Michigan football history. Perhaps only Tom Harmon in his era was as exciting. It will be a long time before we see another player like Denard Robinson. |
| 26 weeks 5 days ago | Frozen Diamond adventure |
My family and I were at the Frozen Diamond hockey game at Cleveland Indians Stadium this past January (Michigan a 4-1 winner over tO$U) when some young 20's tO$U fans above us start throwing snowballs at the Michigan fans, two 40's women) below us. Very classy. So I turn and stare - they won't look my way. I turn back around and within a few minutes they are throwing snowballs at me. I turn around and they won't make eye contact. Again the snowballs start. I stand up and turn around - there are about 4 or 5 of them - and the yelling match starts. Eventually they start moving over to the asile, I assume to visit me. Sure enough four of them are coming my way. I'm 58 years ond and workout daily, but the odds are not good. After an extended shouting match, they back down and leave. I see why - there are about 5 or 6 Michigan guys coming out of the stands standing behind me and coming down the asile towards me. We're all older, but the odds are with me. Not one Michigan guy says a word to them, but most ask me what happened. 5 minutes later one of our guys sends the beer vendor down with a free beer. The Team. The Team. The Team. Go Blue! |

While the details may not be 100% accurate (and maybe they are), your thoughts equal mine. I don't think that Rodriguez got a fair shake. Nor did he "shock the world". The only thing I would like to add is that nasty "Parity" word. It is a different era. Michigan's number one requirement for a coach should be his ability to recruit. Michigan has traditionally had to recruit from everywhere - and will continue to. Great players can make a pretty good X's and O's coach look great. I wish the Rodriguez family nothing but the best - they deserve to be somewhere that they are respected and are happy. Thanks for your best efforts, Rich! |

(Last on the right in back row) Especially when they do their big summer scenarios. Link; http://hellsurvivors.com/hs/index.php Stop thinking about doing it - do it! You can rent the equipment. |
| 2 years 24 weeks ago | I know one these guys |
Sean Thompson is the back row, one in from the right. I have known him since he was about seven years old. He made Eagle Scout with my oldest son, roomed with Edward (son) for a few years, and is an Honors student at Michigan (of course). Sean was the Captain of my son's paintball team (Blackjack Paintball). He is an aggressive, leave it all on the field type of guy. If Sean is an indication of the caliber of paintball player that is on the team, we are VERY well represented. He's a class act. (As a note, Sean's Dad, Mark, is a professor at Kettering University in Flint. Mark is a MSU alumni but has been an enthusiastic supporter of Sean's decision to become a Wolverine.) Thanks for sending us your son, Mark. He's truly a Michigan Man. |

Why is Mark May a racist? I admit that I have not read all of his stuff, or listened to all of his drivel... but from what I have read and heard I do not make him out to be a racist. Seriously, please enlighten me on your case as I am very interested in this. But if this comment is limited to to the fact that Mallett is white and Pryor is black - I'm not sure I find that compelling enough to draw that general conclusion. Thanks! |
