Quote from our former coach: “I have had some really great assistant coaches during my tenure at the University of Michigan, and I can’t say enough about DeAndre Haynes,” Beilein said in a statement provided by Maryland. “He was one of our absolute best. He prioritizes player relationships and our student-athletes developed a complete trust and love for him. As a teacher of the game, DeAndre helped make our student-athletes better every day and his attention to detail is outstanding. He is also an excellent recruiter with a keen eye for talent. This is a tremendous hire and I feel Dre is a great fit for the University of Maryland and the Big Ten Conference.”

This will not end well.

There have been so many of these lately.

I don't even bother posting new information anymore. The other day. I read an article that included a map to the lost city of gold. I figured it was already posted so I didn't bother. I was surprised how much gold was still there when I arrived.

Kieth Jackson reports DeAndre Haynes to Turtles. Whoa Nellie!

Haynes reports Jackson is reporting yet appears not to be breathing.

Both Jackson & Haynes report Generalissimo Francisco Franco appears to still be dead.

Franco reports that reports of Jackson's demise have been greatly repeated, though he failed to breath for the duration of his report.

Someday in the future when users are creating a post a pop-up will appear stating "please check the time and date of the story you considering posting.  If older than five minutes and directly involves a past, present or future Wolverine in any of the four major sports it's already been posted."

People will still go ahead and post anyways (because if they havent heard the news probably nobody has right?) but it will make me feel better.

That's a really good question...how do you measure the biggest sports.

-national champions/championships

-attendance

-Olympic medals

-victories

-$$$ generated

-professional athletes created

-highest graduation rate?

WD....need some stats here...

Okay, so this news is two weeks old...  Nonetheless, the quoted statement is very much something Beilein would say when his words are arranged by an attorney wary of saying the wrong thing.

I hate 'press statements'.  Why can't we just read people words, anymore?
