MSU fans should be happy with the way the team played, maybe not the actions of certain individuals but as a team MSU played quite well.
Yeah gholston should have absolutely been thrown out of the game for the punch, the bigten will suspend him just as they did with Mouton a few years ago. If you can't control yourself there is no place for you on the field. At the same time, anyone who thinks lewan is an angel is severly misguided
Nearly 1/3 of UM's 1st downs came on penalties, with a total of 124 total yards from them. The defense can no longer tackle apparently, but when they did actually attempt to wrap up the ball carrier funbled the ball. Maybe they should work on that this week.
MSU had 8 players earn some piece of a sack for 7 total, with 11 total TFLs. UM lost this game before they got off the bus
No not at all imo. Teams get weaker and stronger all over the field as seasons go on. Injuries, adding experience are all defining traits of a football team at whatever point in the season.
Its fair to average the teams performance up to that week of the game. Last week ND played a 2 QB purdue team. Offensively they could look much better as the season goes on if they have 1 QB emerge. If UM can find someone other than Denard to carry the ball consistantly, UM's offense will become stronger. You may have the same names on the field but its a new team every week that is put on the field.
Eh I can't really go with that. ND's offensive grade at the end of the season isn't what UM played agaisnt, its the offensive grade they received at the end of week 2. I expect a week 6 MSU to grade out higher than a week 2 ND.
At the end of week 2 this is what ND's offense looked like:
Passing O: 10th
Rush O: 57th
Total O: 13h
Scoring O: 75th
Red Zone O: 117th
If you can't put points on the board you do not have a good offense
He looked to be a ND lean for a while based on his visits, and then UM and MSU were the 2 teams trailing. He just recently confirmed he had a leader, I would be really surprised if he felt the same last weekend and still made the UM visit.
He'd visited ND a lot, every time he went to another school he would come back and visit ND. Whether you believe me or not, The UM game last week probably sealed the deal for ND.
There is a lot more respect for hoke this year coupled with how good denard played last season I think most expect a challenge for the team to overcome this weekend.
As for me I don't like to use ten words when three are enough and I base my opinions on things that can be measured though the occasional gut feeling can be just as informed.

Eventhough ND is at the top of nearly every list, I have to go with no. Good offenses don't give the ball away 5 times
I'm not implying anything, trying to figure out what he is talking about.
Thats an obvious power program list btw
#1 why are you quoting "power program"?
#2 why is beating UM a qualifier for being a "power program"?
#3 are Miss St, purdue, illinois, now power programs?
He thinks he's in better shape on the Oline than UM? This makes my head hurt

to compare and contrast to MSU in a few weeks?
didn't know cartman was a MSU fan
the more you know
I have secondary envy
A buzzsaw that disintigrates about 3/4ths of the way through seriously maming the operatro maybe
Floyd was a decoy on that play not the primary
Officially? Probably about the time that forced fumble on the goal line went straight back to denard
Denard averaged 31 yards per reception, its not even close
5 TOs to USF
4 TOs to UM
3? TOs to MSU or if you want to go averages that would be another 9 TOs between MSU and Pitt.
really really well? I thought it was closer to pathetic especially in the secondary
