Geez you gotta be fast around here.  Was about to post this.

More:

Brown, who started six games as a defensive back but recently moved to running back, posted a photo on his Instagram page that read, "COULDN'T PLAY FOR A RACIST MAN!!!!"

In the caption, Brown added that "Sark treated me like a slave in his office."

When informed of the post, Sarkisian said he was "shocked" and called the allegations "ridiculous."

I never thought a coach would come into USC and instantly achieve more drama than Lane Kiffin, but man, this is a brutal week for them.

Shaw's family members corroborated the drowning nephew story.

Oddly enough, if Sark had assumed all those black people were lying and that the more likely story involved the cops and a domestic violence situation, then Anthony Brown's silly statements might have some sliver of validity.

I think we need to see the details to know (i.e., see who's in the wrong).  The range of possibilities is "no impact on anyone" to "all guys who don't want to play for a racist."  The latter group is probably just about all guys.

Seems Sark's feelings are hurt; we'll probably never know what was said by Sark in their office meeting:

"As far as what [Brown] said on Twitter, I think it's ridiculous," Sarkisian said. "Any of you guys that know me and if you ask anybody in our building, any of our players -- feel free to -- that's about the furthest thing from the truth. Quite honestly, I'm shocked."

I mean Sark has been around for a while at a lot of big programs. I would think if he's actually racist, other things would have come to light by now. Maybe a kid frustrated with PT and position switches lashing out? Regardless, I enjoy any bad press for USC.

was OC at USC then a head coach at Washington before coming back, never any sort of allegation of racism.  I'm thinking a particular RB is just a little too sensitive.

Sark has probably been around college football longer than this kid has been alive.

He's pissed and wanted to yell some bullshit that he'll have to apologize for by the end of the weekend.

Social media gives him that platform.

Sark is in the wrong profession if he doesn't like black people.

This is an ignorant kid, being an ignorant kid...did he get replaced by a white guy or something? Regardless, this is just another embarrassing story for USC.

Meh, it goes both ways. There are certain people who try to frame lots of things in racial terms that have nothing to do with race or racism.

Let's just treat this for what it is at the moment, an isolated, unsubstantiated claim by one player out of the thousands Sarkisian has coached in his career.

But we'll see smart ass.

I'm in no way defending Sark, I just find it hard to believe that someone (who's 18-19 years old) can have adversity, then make a claim via Instragram and it validated just because a kid said so.

But you're right...let's wait and see what happens. But in the end, you're still a dick...and that has nothing to do with race. I'll be the first to admit if I'm wrong, but I'll also be sure to tell you "I told you so" if I'm correct.
