I don't think that tells us much.  Current players can't really say, "Yeah, coach is a racist" unless they're up dealing with the aftermath of that.  If no one said anything I think that would be a pretty clear sign that Sarkisian has issues, but I'm not sure that we can learn much from players defending him.  Former players defending him might tell us a little more.

Hopefully Brown will share some details.  If something really nasty happened, it's probably in his best interest to do so, since people will be skeptical otherwise.

Yes, they can...it's called a mistake. People do things they have to apologize for later every day. That could easily be one of those things.

People make claims every day, not only on race...it doesn't make them correct. And if it can't be proven and if it's put to bed, many times people dismiss those people.

I wouldn't put it past ANY college athlete to make a claim in the heat of emotion. It's part of growing up.

How could you say that? THE SAME TEAM just had a kid lie about saving a life!! Kids make shit up. Especially when they're not thinking.

Just like the first kid had to apologize for lying, it wouldn't shock me at all if this kid is apologizing by the end of the weekend. These wouldn't be the first and won't be the last kids to lie without thinking of the ramifications.

But we'll see what happens with this case, because he could be on to something and maybe he's right.

But for those people acting like this is the Penn State syndrome and people aren't believing the victim, that's garbage. Calling someone a racist and accusing someone of sexual assualt or molestation isn't even remotely the same. Racism claims are made by people of all colors all the damn time, they should be taken seriously, but it's not the same as PSU.

Calling someone a racist and accusing someone of sexual assualt(sic) or molestation isn't even remotely the same. Racism claims are made by people of all colors all the damn time, they should be taken seriously, but it's not the same as PSU.

However, cities haven't erupted into flaming riots because of claims of sexual misconduct, that phenomenon in the US, is almost always seen in the context of claims of racism.  So while at the personal level claims of racism are overshadowed by claims of sexual misconduct, at the community level society suffers a greater harm from claims (true or false) of racism.  So let's not so easily dismiss claims of racism (true or false) because they're made all the damn time.

Tawany Brawley didn't get away with an apology when she made her false claim of rape, this young man shouldn't be excused with a simple apology if he's proven to have made a false allegation.

... thought I wasn't being played because of my color. I got filled up with a lot of attitude so I quit, still not a week goes by I don't regret it, and I guarantee a week won't go by in your life you won't regret walking out letting them get the best of you. Do you hear me clear enough?

Ready for a double dose of irony? This kid moved from CB to RB for playing time. Now that Shaw is injured/suspended, his chances of playing at CB are significantly better than at RB. Obviously, none of that matters now, calling your coach a racist publically is a burnt bridge no one will be crossing any time soon.

I'm assuming his scholarship gets pulled in this situation, yes? Does this mean he'll quit school 1 year before graduation, or does he go out and get a student loan like the rest of us did?

Considering Sark has been around college football for 20 years, the burden of proof is on the accuser. And one thing the accuser should know - Sark is not white, he's Armenian. So he may be an Armenian racist.

where many of these atrocities took place. The Turks refuse to even acknowledge they did anything wrong and give tacit, if not outright approval to what the Azerbaijanis are doing to the Armenians now.

Even today the Turks are actively wiping out any vestiges of Armenian culture within their borders.
