OT: Aaron Rodgers has 6 tds in the first half.

The Bears are a complete disaster right now. It might be time to fire Trestman.

This is unbelievable what I am seeing.

i think the bears would be a job Harbaugh would consider. Historically though, the Bears typically aren't known for "shelling out the dough" for big time coaches. I'm not saying that's what Harbaugh wants or needs, but I would be slightly surprised to see the Bears go after him unless they decide to spend the $$$$$$$     Also, Rodgers is on my fantasy team....yeessssirrrr.

Spot on.  I think that's how they ended up with Trestman in the first place.

Dough might not be the only consideration for Harbaugh, but if Michigan offers $6M to $7M, why would he opt for that tire fire of a franchise in Chicago.  They've got a couple of really good WR's, but Cutler is a head case at QB.  Their RB isn't getting any younger and their defense is a mess.  There's not much help in sight here.

I could see him going to Atlanta before going to the Bears.

I remember being bummed when the Bucs got Smith, the Titans got Wisenhunt and especially when the Bears got Trestman and the Browns got stuck with Pettine. I wouldn't trade him for any of those guys now that's for sure. Even blind squirrels find acorns every once in a while right?

Ha, as a Lions fan, I remember being pissed that Wisenhunt opted for the Titans and that the Lions got stuck with a (not even particularly good) retread in Caldwell. Now, the Lions lead their division and are tied with the likes of NE and DEN for the second best record. I'm not sure Caldwell is any kind of long term answer, but he clearly has had a good anti-Schwartz effect.

Got out of Chicago this morning, thankfully.

Drives for the Bears have ended in...

  • Punt
  • Interception
  • Punt
  • Punt
  • Turnover on Downs
  • Turnover on Downs
  • Fumble
  • Fumble

Yikes.

Just got back from watching Fury.  Holy crap.  You think the Packer-Bear game was the biggest massacre around.  Now drinking in the hopes I'll be able to sleep tonight.

and a lot of the talk on the radio has been regarding the Bears firing Lovie after a 10 win season, only to see Trestman, a supposed QB guru, not get much different than usual from Cutler.  Talk of a coaching change has mentioned Harbaugh a little. The thing seems to be, he was not well regarded in Chicago.  His finer times as a QB came later, with Indy.

There are so many nfl teams to compete with harbaugh for.  Bears, Jets, Miami, maybe the giants, Oakland.  There is a chance one of those teams gets desperate and offers harbaugh full control and then we can say bye to any chance of getting him since control is probably the biggest draw back to the college game.

I mean, it's probably simple - the Bears simply didn't realize that the game had started even though the network trucks were outside and they actually got dressed and all that. It is entirely feasible that they just missed the cue for actually assembling as a team and doing something football-like, correct? Anyone? Bueller?

I miss being in Chicago as a Packers fan. 670 the Score is going to have some epic tirades and Dave Kaplan will also probably go off! I get a consolation prize... to hear Broncos fans bash Cutler.

Bears from NFC North division race. They look lifeless and uninspired. Rumor of locker room yelling and pointing seems to getting stronger and stronger.

It's a two team race between the Lions and Packers with the Lions having an advantage over the Packers with a H2H win. Looking at the schedule, the Lions have a really good shot of winning 11 games.

Speaking of the Lions, Lions vs. Cardinals game will have NFC playoff implication since both will be playing for having the inside track of earning the #1 seed in the NFC playoff. Just like everyone predicted
