I really thought that when…

I really thought that when they hired Harbaugh that Michigan would be a suped-up version of a Wisconsin team with pretty much better players at every position.  Dominant teams year after year. Haven't seen it.

This is so spot on. Nothing…

This is so spot on. Nothing wrong with running the ball until they stop us. It's like the offensive coaches really don't like to run the ball that much. Too boring or something.

Yep, the announcers noticed…

Yep, the announcers noticed how much they just gave up running the ball in the third quarter. Gattis needs to learn to be patient with the run instead of trying to hit a homerun on every play. 18 3rd down plays because of too many misses in the passing game.

I thought all the extra…

I thought all the extra practices before the Bowl game was supposed to be very important with improving a team. The passing game showed no improvement at all. Actually looked regressed a bit.

The team doesn't play smart…

The team doesn't play smart. Bad penalties. Pile drive the QB. False starts. QB completion percentage under 50 percent.

Correct. Roughing the passer…

Correct. Roughing the passer. (Pile drive) and intentional grounding.

Georgia isn't that good.

Georgia isn't that good.

True. But I'm thinking OSU…

True. But I'm thinking OSU would have seen that hole and took it to the house.

Michigan's offense moving…

Michigan's offense moving the chains and staying ahead of the sticks. And converting a high percentage of short yardage third down plays.

Plus no turnovers.

Too many dropped passes and…

Too many dropped passes and penalties.

They really should stick…

They really should stick with running plays a little bit more. They got away from that at the end of second quarter and third quarter. Stay ahead of chains.

A few of those passes were…

A few of those passes were 3rd and long plays. Not a high percentage play.

Probably comparable to the…

Probably comparable to the Russell Wilson led team or one of seasons with Melvin Gordon.

Do they have any fumbles?…

Do they have any fumbles? Why would they?  They just hand the ball off and run for touchdowns.

Why don't we have one then?…

Why don't we have one then? Wisconsin has one every damn year. I can name them from memory. John Clay, Monte Ball, James White, Melvin Gordon, Cory Clement, and now Taylor. Wisconsin usually ranks lower than 25th in recruiting but always hits on their running back.

Michigan has top 10 or 20 classes but their running backs are rarely home run hitters. Outside of Higden being a decent back, Michigan has been lacking for years.

Wisconsin does a pretty good…

Wisconsin does a pretty good job of sustaining drives with their archaic offense.

The QB hasn't been…

The QB hasn't been consistent enough and use the whole field by spreading it around.

Probably because Gattis sees…

Probably because Gattis sees all those shiny objects with those future NFL WR and Tight Ends. Probably should stick with the run first and establish that before throwing too much.

Yep. Square peg in a round…

Yep. Square peg in a round hole.

Michigan's offense: Three…

Michigan's offense: Three incompletions and a cloud of dust.

They used to say that Bo…

They used to say that Bo mellowed as a coach as he got older.

Kemp's comments are…

Kemp's comments are encouraging.

It doesn't matter what…

It doesn't matter what offense if you don't have a very good QB.

Not with Patterson running…

Not with Patterson running the read option. Not durable enough. Too small. Would like to see Harbough take control of the offense and go to the Pro Style for the remainder of the season. The offense is built for that. Even put Mason back at fullback. The Defense would appreciate it also. Don Brown must be apoplectic about how the offense is creating undue pressure on his undermanned defense. Too many three and outs and turnovers. It's their only chance at salvaging the season. Because If they stick with this turnover fest shit show offense then they are doomed to lose a large multitude of remaining games. Harbough needs to do this for the team and his job.

Got to get him the ball…

Got to get him the ball there.

Harbough needs to take the…

Harbough needs to take the reigns of this offense stat. The season is on the brink of disaster and his job should be in jeopardy. QB Patterson, while he is a decent runner, is not a good read option QB. Need to go back to Manball with Mason as the fullback. Have him do some rollout passes. This current offense is killing our defense. If Patterson continues to struggle, then it's time for McCaffery to play.

Button up It's going to be cold.
Wisconsin true freshmen A running back with almost 2,000 yards and a receiver making acrobatic catches.
Mike Riley Good offensive mind.
Extra Tight Ends as blockers. Might as well just have three of them in the offense most of the time as blockers and just run the ball 95 percent of the time.
The kid knew what he was doing. As the Wisconsin player was tackling him around the waist area he could tell that Peters was on his way down, but planted his shoulder and drove the defenseless player in the ground. A cowardly move.
A few plays that turned the game: The pick 6 thrown by our QB. The other interception that gave OSU a very short field. The penalty on Harbaugh gave OSU great field position. The Grant Perry penalty on the punter. That one was a killer because not only did it prevent Michigan from having excellent field position (the punt was deep in OSU territory), but it allowed their punter to subsequently boom a kick that pinned Michigan at their own 5 yard line. That sequence of events concluded with the interception for a TD. A complete flip of the field due to an unnecessary and infuriating penalty.
Welcome aboard. Welcome aboard.
They'll be back tomorrow for They'll be back tomorrow for more 'crootin' news. Lol
So Blake O'Neil is back to So Blake O'Neil is back to punt at the end of the MSU game. Didn't the ST coach 'drop the ball' as much as the punter on that play by not making it clear to said punter that if he happens to drop the ball to just FALL ON IT?
Dissapointing games for the Dissapointing games for the most part. They looked like they would be good games beforehand.
Good vision on the Rudock Good vision on the Rudock run.
Rudock...tough dude. Rudock...tough dude.
Jake Butt looks like he is Jake Butt looks like he is wearing shorts.
No knee pads...
DB is going to jump a route DB is going to jump a route while covering Chesson? Smh.
A top notch DL is the most A top notch DL is the most important thing you can have on defense. Controlling the line of scrimmage (stopping the run and a quality pass rush from the front four) helps the other positions on defense and can cover up some deficiencies as well. The secondary should be solid too. The only question mark is at linebacker. Some decent players there and at least a couple of star freshman coming in will need an excellent DL to help them as they adjust and learn.
The 'hurry up offense' has to The 'hurry up offense' has to be done in a smart way. The way Auburn does it...When they run their offense, they hurry it up after they achieve a first down. Doing so before that puts your team at the risk of a quick three and out and having your defense back on the field too soon and tiring them out. Too many of those will exhaust a defense.

Kugler was number one.
Why isn't Kugler next up to replace Glasgow?
5'10" Dallas Cowboy 5'10" Dallas Cowboy linebacker and three time Pro Bowler Dexter Coakley.
Cowboy's coach Barry Switzer replying to someone's concern about his lack of height. - We didn't get him to screw in light bulbs.
It's not a massive decision. It's not a massive decision. As pointed out, he has many options to choose from in where he can go to school and play football. He'll be fine wherever he decides to go.
Tight end Eric Ebron was the Tight end Eric Ebron was the tenth overall pick of the Lions. I'd take Jake Butt over him easy.
It's all about strategy. It's all about strategy. Strategically letting the opponent score in certain situations is a part of other sports as well. Baseball, with the bases loaded and playing the infield back to get the double play and concede the run. Basketball, a team has the lead and doesn't want to foul and give the other team three points. Instead they concede the easy layup. In football, in very limited strategic situations, you let them score to get the ball back. Even in certain situations I've seen teams commit intentional safeties( giving the other team 2 points) as part of their strategy.
He took over the program He took over the program after it was losing so that 500 percentage is a bit misleading. Yes, they didn't have a very good season this year. (Key injuries hurt them)More telling if they get back on the winning track next year. His offense just needs the right QB to run it and a few skilled playmakers to make it work. He can win there like he did at WV if he just continues to build.
I'm usually a proponent of I'm usually a proponent of letting the team score if the other team can bleed the clock down and kick a short field goal for the win with little or no time left. You would think Iowa should have made one defensive stop in that TWENTY TWO PLAY DRIVE.
