Went to the Browns game and got to witness first-hand a bunch of poorly coached, overpaid, overrated players who dont give a shit about winning or losing give less than half an effort in getting their ass beat in by a fourth round, rookie QB yesterday.
Then I went home, took a brief nap and watch the exact opposite of the Browns, excellently managed, underpaid, underrated Guardians (God I hate that word) lose to the fucking Yankees instead of knocking them out of the playoffs.
Neg away boys. You cant hurt me cause I'm already dead inside.

I generally find that fans overstate the whole "they aren't putting the effort in" takes. Professional athletes work hard.
...But I was watching Red Zone on that NE TD in the third quarter. 17-6 game at that point, not great, but still in touch. Hold NE to a field goal and 2 TDs can still tie. NE was on the Cleveland 31, and Zappe found Hunter Henry wiiiiide open on a not-deep pass. Henry started barreling downfield.
Cleveland had a DB in (good) man coverage deep. He was 2 yards in the end zone when he saw that Henry had the ball at the 15, and he had an angle to cut Henry off. Perhaps Henry jukes inside to get away from him, but then there's another DB coming across from the other side of the field, maybe you can spill to help.
Instead the DB just flat gave up, stopped moving, stayed in the end zone, and watched Henry score without effort.
I'm not a Browns fan, but I'm sympathetic to them and would like to see them do well. I don't expect players to go full throttle when there's no chance, but that DB had an opportunity to tackle or attempt to tackle a receiver in a competitive game, and simply couldn't be bothered. I find that alarming.

I saw GNR back in 2006 and they sucked live. I've been to quite a few rock and metal shows and the best was Iron Maiden.

I saw Jay-Z and Beyonce in something like 2000, I wanna say at the hard knock life tour. Beyonce has an incredible voice. Jay Z was terrible.
Red Hot Chili Peppers were a riot. Then again I rushed that stage and was front and center at Pine Knob. Might have been the 18 year old in me.

Brad Robbins is not given enough work and should consider leaving the program. I’m sure Iowa fans watching the game Saturday we’re livid. I mean, how can you score points without the punter leading the way.
There’s too much emphasis on the lack of down field passes. Instead, we need to focus more on the true disservice of our offensive scheme…punting. Hopefully, John Harbaugh can find (lend) us a coach to take over our offense next year that utilizes our punters more in big games like the PSU game this past weekend. I look forward to a weekly ThMP (Thursday Morning Punter) segment next year with Sam and Mesko.

GNR has been reduced to a GNR cover band with a half-assed frontman. They lost their fastball when Izzy left. RHCP works hard, at least. I saw Ghost in Saginaw a couple weeks ago…now those mofos play their asses off to put on a great show.

Appetite is one of the best albums of all time. Certainly better than anything the Peppers put out. But I was listening to Pandora last week when a Use Your Illusion song came on. I honestly thought it was from a bad GnR tribute band. There may not be a bigger delta between a band’s best album and everything else than there is for GnR, with the possible exception of Milli Vanilli.
