Monday Night Drinking Thread: A Nice Tall Glass of Buckeye Tears
I have been checking in on 11W here and there recently, and caught this forum post today noting that it's not just Honda McCord leaving, but basically every first string offensive skill player! QB1, WR1, 2, 3, RB1, TE1, more.
Looks like a rebuilding year ahead in Cbus? (Although I assume they have a stable of 5 stars 2 miles deep to draw from, and some comments noted that some of these players may not leave after all)
Anyway just imagining the potential of keeping the streak alive for the next couple years, it's a sweet long drink of Buckeye tears

I prefer to not drink Buckeye tears, but rather bottle them up for use as a personal lubricant as needed.

OSU fans are coping by declaring we’re going to get destroyed by Bama. At least that’s how the buckeye fan I work with is coping. He is convinced we can’t run the ball. He’s also salty about Roman Wilson’s toughness comments. Talked about how typical it is of Michigan (whatever that means). Then he went off about how Harrison had all those receptions, yards, and touchdowns. I was like, “sure, but I couldn’t help but notice he didn’t bother to chase down Will Johnson after the interception right in his face.”
anyway, long short of it is he reads a lot of the buckeye boards and lives in the online world and the majority opinion is we’ll lose to Bama by 30.
hey, it could happen, but it’s not based on anything rational.

Every single OSU fan that I have spoke to seems to be convinced we will be getting every win taken away and additional penalties. It’s almost like they just continue to set themselves up for disappointment.

Regarding Harrison, if I was a safety playing them, I would just watch Harrison at the snap. If he moves, it’s a passing play. If he just stands there, it’s a run.

Until proven otherwise, Michigan won't have any players transfer or declare for the NFL early and all the coaches will stay. Everything is coming up like a Rose.

Seriously, why would any self-respecting player want to stay at Excuse University? To pregame mosh pit with the least worthy Ohio State head coach in history as he toots his whistle??? Do you really want to play for a head coach that is so incredibly lacking in self confidence that he has to rely on a PI and PR firm to fool a fanbase into thinking he's not in over his head.
Watching the body language of the Ohio State players, it occurs to me they know exactly who they are playing for. Anyone who can find a way out and save face likely will.
Their loser fan base won't even notice the unfolding train wreck because they're busy circle-jerking on message boards trying to come up with cute quips involving the word "cheaters."
