Nice move for him. Hopefully sometime in the future he'll be the second former Syracuse RB coach on the sidelines coaching the backs at Michigan.

The animosity between Harbaugh and Lloyd Carr that stemmed from that incident was every bit as strong, and yet they've mended fences. I don't see why Harbaugh wouldn't try to bury the hatchet with Hart if he ever thought that Hart would be a good addition to his staff. As crazy as Harbaugh is, I don't think he's the type who lets petty grudges get in the way of hiring good assistant coaches.

Sparty has gotten a lot of mileage out of Mike Hart's "little brother" quote, but it was because of Mike Hart's passion for Michigan.  Harbaugh wants people with passion and enthusiasm for Michigan.  If Hart becomes qualified, Harbaugh will take him in a "Hartbeat."

Especially when you factor in NFL production.  I think Ernie would've had a HoF career, but unfortunately he died of Leukemia before he had a chance to play a down.

If Cleveland fans needed another reason to hate Art Modell, he tried to argue for Ernie to play while his cancer was in remission.  I think the coach was still Paul Brown and he refused to play him.

Now they'll both be living "up there." John's a businessman, but I'd love to see them band together and help Mike become the head coach he's destined to be.

Mike hart has said he wants to be the head coach at Michigan so he's on his way. In bout 20 years Harbaugh retires and he's ready

Outside of his family I don't think there is a bigger Hart fan than I. This is a great move for him. I love that he has said he wants to be the head coach at UM someday. Fortunately for us, Wheatley would love that role too. There has been talk that Woodson wants to coach after retiring so that would be pretty awesome if true. And these are on top of the coaching tree that Harbaugh is developing. He is quickly creating one of the best coaching trees in football in a fairly short time. Count me as one who believes Harbaugh will be a lifer at UM. But whenever his time is done we will have so many options who would love to coach UM. Like Bo, Harbaugh is setting us up for the long haul. I think we have decades of success to look forward to.

Glad for him. Continue to climb the ladder. Got to be nice to go back closer to his home grounds as well. Hope he does well. Babers is not a bad coach to hitch tryout wagon to if trying to climb the ladder.
