Cool Story, Bro
January 26th, 2013 at 11:21 AM ^
I dislike people asking opinions about things that have NOTHING to do with the school or athletics (Ex: Advice on Plute or Healy built homes...wtf?!)

I mean really people, do your homework. I am not going to tell you which lube works best after six hours of monkey love with my wife. Some things you need to learn yourselves.

motor oil Alex?

Is your wife down for 6 hours of scientific experimentation?
January 26th, 2013 at 1:04 PM ^
Just saying '^this' is pretty fucking useless I think.
January 26th, 2013 at 11:04 AM ^
With "/s".
January 26th, 2013 at 11:25 AM ^
I concur.

I saw David Cone in Georgia once at a restaurant, and I awkwardly approached him and asked him what he was up to. He seemed to be reviewing a movie script or something like that, but i didn't want to pry. /CoolStoryBroMoment.

Thanks, i was trying to figure out my compile error.
EDIT: I miss read the purpose of this thread. My Cone(r) story is true, i just never had any substance other than i talked to him for a few minutes, told him i appreciated his efforts as a student athlete and go blue! I never really had much to discuss other than that... so I was sharing my story here thinking it would be okay.
That said, i don't mind when others say "they met Lavell Blanchard" (because I did that too frosh year) I actually like those stories.

Which David Cone was it? Former Michigan QB, or former Yankee great?
January 26th, 2013 at 11:39 AM ^
First of all, David Cone was a Met great. Second, it was Michigan's David Cone, aka febreeze.
January 26th, 2013 at 12:29 PM ^
Didn't he pitch the no-hitter with the Yankees?
January 26th, 2013 at 12:37 PM ^
So did Doc Gooden, but doesn't make them Yankee greats.
Johan pitched a no-hitter* with the mets... is he a mets great?
*Say what you will, it's our only in Mets history dangit!
January 26th, 2013 at 2:08 PM ^
How many series did he win with the Mets?
January 26th, 2013 at 2:13 PM ^
Haha, that's fair. I'd rather call him a Blue Jays great than a yankees great. I loved me some blue jays in the early 90s. (My Peewee league team was the blue jays, so obviously was a huge Carter/Jays fan.)
Looking at Cone's career tho, it looks like he spent the majority of it in pinstripes :-(

Anything with male genitalia exposed. It's okay with me that some people are into that, but this is a sports blog. I don't need to see that here.
January 26th, 2013 at 11:08 AM ^
Wait what?
January 26th, 2013 at 11:11 AM ^
Or you conveniently tell your wife/significant other that you are on MGoBlog whenever you get busted for watching gay porn.
We are onto you...
January 26th, 2013 at 11:14 AM ^
I don't get all the kerfuffle. The OP asked what I don't want to see posted.
January 26th, 2013 at 11:23 AM ^
this page is oh too deficient in dongs.
MOAR GAY PORN!!!
January 26th, 2013 at 11:39 AM ^
And I respect your more dongs opinion. Just make sure you tag your post [warning: dongs]. It's all I ask.

don't be afraid to look at a Johnson...
unless you are afraid, which tells me that you are afraid that you might like it?

January 27th, 2013 at 12:08 AM ^
So let me get this straight, you DON'T like banana hammocks.....AND....AND....you're FARRRRRR from homophobic. I've heard of switch hitters, but I heard there is also such a thing as switch pitchers too.
January 26th, 2013 at 1:52 PM ^
But what about the dong forest?
January 26th, 2013 at 11:24 AM ^
I think PKatz got this one right, but we dont judge here at MGoBlog so its no big deal homie...
January 26th, 2013 at 11:39 AM ^
I think PKatz disagreed with the guy who doesn't want to see "/s" used anymore.

Hi There!
January 26th, 2013 at 11:10 AM ^
I know I'm going to get negged for this, but...
January 26th, 2013 at 11:15 AM ^
My reaction when I see that is to automatically neg them. I mean, even they knew it was coming..
January 26th, 2013 at 11:42 AM ^
I know I'm going to get upvoted for this, but...
I'm going to start a "I know I'm going to get upvoted for this" trend. I want everyone to know how popular of a point I am going to make before I just make the point.
January 26th, 2013 at 11:08 AM ^
I've grown tired of the Kate Upton gifs.
January 26th, 2013 at 11:10 AM ^
You shut your stupid mouth.
January 26th, 2013 at 11:22 AM ^
(couldn't help myself)
Although I will never tire of the Upton gifs, it is annoying when they are inserted into a thread that isn't labeled "NSFW." I mean, I know that's the risk any time I'm on a blog site, so I'm not a victim here. It blows my mind how frequently someone happens to walk by me at work when something like that shows up. Meh, I guess being known as the "Upton perv" at work isn't all that bad.
"Cool story bro" is definitely overused. If the frequency was cut down about 90-95%, it may start being funny again.
January 26th, 2013 at 11:40 AM ^
I agree with you on the whole "Upton gifs in random threads" thing, but you probably wouldn't be known as "Upton perv" if you just scrolled by the pics instead of staring at them for a half hour.
January 26th, 2013 at 11:22 AM ^
if anything, we want MOAR Kate

January 26th, 2013 at 11:08 AM ^
I personally do not fell ND should be counted as a BIG team in recruiting rankings, will be really stupid when we are not playing them anymore.
Also any mention of Manti
January 26th, 2013 at 11:29 AM ^
Ok two points:
1. They're a powerhouse and in our region and a direct competitor for recruits, they'll still probably play MSU and Purdue or someone in the B1G. I think it's okay to keep
2. Not related, but I'm thankful for this Te'o incident. Next year when Michigan plays ND, and an ND fan comes at me with something 'smart.' I'll probably reply "Hey, it's cool bro, my girlfriend here is a notre dame fan" (obvs pointing to thin air.)
January 26th, 2013 at 12:20 PM ^
Invisible girlfriends? Just how long has this been going on. When do they pass them out? Yeah, go ahead, tell me you have never seen one.
Ok, upon reflection, maybe this isn't an advantage after all.
January 26th, 2013 at 11:10 AM ^
Mentioning any big recruits that we just missed out on....over and over again.
