My masters degree is from MSU, so no. They can lose every game from now until the end of time and my feelings won't be hurt.

South U Pizza was a drunk food staple on the way home from the bars.

Hot 'n Now still has one open location in Sturgis, MI!

I tried out for MagnUM my freshman year. Didn't end up making the team, but had a great time at tryouts.

Lindenwood is in the same collegiate cycling conference as Michigan, so that's neat.

1) At least 3 BR, 2 bath was a requirement. Somewhere to park the boat (a lot of municipalities around here have rules against leaving it in the driveway), at least a partly finished basement, fenced in yard a plus. We had a small list of school districts we were interested in.

The house we ended up in was the one that got accepted after 10 offers and probably 50+ tours. It checked almost every box (and went above and beyond several), but we really don't care for the galley kitchen. Someday we hope to expand it, but it's gonna require a fair bit of work and a lot of dollars.

2) For our family's sake, probably somewhere a bit warmer. Maybe the Carolinas? I'd personally get a small cabin on a trout stream in Minnesota, but my wife would not approve that decision.

I don't think so. I took this photo at the last Illinois game. Peep Shea's unique mouth guard placement.

Guinness for me. It had been a while since I've had one. Can't go wrong with the nitro classic.

If you go back to the August 10th post here they do a good job of explaining many of them. https://mvictors.com/uniform-timeline/

They also have updates for every game's sticker.

Exactly.

Plus, I'm sure the athletic department would much rather keep the band on the field and sell all of those tickets rather than putting the band up in the stands. They're not gonna miss out on profit just for the lols of putting the band in the nosebleeds.

No need for all that, just…

No need for all that, just make them have media availability after the game like coaches do.

My go-to for pork is the…

My go-to for pork is the Gospel from Meat Church, although I've been meaning to try their Honey Hog Hot. Yellow mustard binder on the butt, no binder on the ribs. My wife also has this cherry pork rib that she likes ( Three Little Pigs Touch of Cherry), so I'll add that to her half of the rack of ribs.

I'm a no-wrap guy, just throw it on, spritz every hour or two, and let 'er ride.

Throwing a pork butt and…

Throwing a pork butt and some ribs on the smoker in the AM. Ribs should be done for lunch and pulled pork for dinner. Maybe throw some queso on the smoker for an afternoon snack.

No plans for drink yet, probably some pumpkin beers during yard work before settling into some bourbon for the game.

I believe the students…

I believe the students affected were compensated with free season tickets, so at least they got something out of it.

To me it seemed like MSU…

To me it seemed like MSU actually gameplanned for Rutgers (test their secondary) and Michigan just figured they could pave them. It was clear which was the better plan.

Nice shots as always Patrick!

As other have said, Frita Batidos is the correct answer. I'll throw in Jamaican Jerk Pit as an under appreciated wild card, but it's not exactly game day food.

I was behind Coach Harbaugh at the movie theater once and he pulled that wallet out when it was time to pay.

I've been using The Grint for GPS yardage and score/stat tracking over the past few years and have really liked it. They have a smartwatch app too, but I find the phone interface (much larger screen) easier to use.

Gotta be The Long Shot Pod…

Gotta be The Long Shot Pod with out man Duncan Robinson. Also really enjoyed Go Blue with Stu (Stu Douglass) during the season. I don't listen to a whole lot of non-Michigan sports.

Non-sports I like Ear Biscuits, a Hot Dog is a Sandwich, Crime Junkies, and Sawbones.

I'd wager it's a club sport. I was on the club cycling team in college and we'd usually send a few cyclists that qualified to nationals most years. The University provides the framework and support, but the club sports mostly rely on dues and fundraising to make things happen.

There are a wide variety of club sports (ultimate frisbee, fencing, rifle, etc) that compete with other schools across the country.

Mines getting pretty out of control. My hair is really thick and wavy, so it kinda just goes up and out in a big pile rather than being really long. My fiancee did take a straightener to it the other day while we were bored. That was a look for sure, haha.

Illinois as they also had a top civil engineering program. MSU was probably a more realistic second option due to in state tuition and proximity to my hometown. Thankfully that scenario never played out.

1. I mostly fish out of my kayak (Old Town Topwater) for bass. Fishing top water (poppers/poppers/spooks) and swimbaits are my favorite, but I catch probably 60+% of my fish on a Ned rig.

2. Smallies in current. They fight so hard.

3. I like fishing with a buddy in their own yak. You've got some company, but both can do their own thing if desired.

4. I'd love to head up to BC and catch a big ol white sturgeon. Those things are living dinosaurs.

Yeah I don't see how giving a returner 40+ yards of free space is going to be a good idea. Why not just eliminate kicking all together if every return is going to be massive.

I'm not a huge bourbon guy, but I did some parts of the trail a few years ago and had a great time. The Buffalo Trace tour was particularly good (and free!)

My freshman year we ran the wing T and were pretty successful with it. We maybe threw 5 times all year. To be honest I don't know that we even lined up a receiver most downs, but we won most of our games. After my freshman year the varsity coach left and they brought in a guy running the spread. We thew a lot more, but we sucked. I'll let you guess what year saw a bunch of kids quit football after the season.

Was in line behind coach Harbaugh at the movie theater and he pulled out his wallet to pay. Of course he had the Bad Mother Fucker wallet from Pulp Fiction.

On another occasion I had a girl over (from Tinder so I didn't really know her well) and Will Campbell kept calling her try to get her to go to Rick's. I guess they were both pretty frequent flyers at that fine establishment.

As a former cyclist (I raced…

As a former cyclist (I raced for UM), the number of friends and fellow competitors that have been hit by cars is alarming, so that has to limit how may parents would let their kids out on the roads. That and the fact that wearing spandex isn't exactly "cool" are pretty high barriers to entry for kids growing up. The amount of training required is intense as well and a lot of people burn out.

All of that said, the US does have a couple of youngsters coming up worth keeping an eye on, but they're not quite there yet.

I shipped some beer via FedEx this spring and they did ask. I said salsa, they asked if it was packaged securely, I said yep, and that was that. No further questions and it arrived without problems.

Did the Buffalo Trace tour…

Did the Buffalo Trace tour last year and have been buying their stuff since. Would HIGHLY recommend their tour, even if you're not a big bourbon person. It's free!

I may get roasted for this one, but we've been buying Traverse City Whiskey Co's bourbon infused with cherries to use in cocktails. Makes a pretty dang tasty whiskey sour.
