Mary Markley, get your act together and do THIS
TennBlue posted this in another thread, and it really deserved more notice:

TennBlue, post here, so everyone can upvote you again. This awesomeness deserves it, and it deserves to be seen by more people. Front Page this!

Yes indeed!, it DOES deserve its own post. I almost want to make it my avatar but I doubt it'll look as good.
PS Thanksgiving break is no excuse! Get this done!
November 23rd, 2010 at 10:36 AM ^
Is that a thing of beauty. It took me a minute to read the F**K osu....
So nice.
November 23rd, 2010 at 10:37 AM ^
The one dufus between the C and K left his light on.
November 23rd, 2010 at 2:47 PM ^
Or maybe "FUGK" is an Ohio regional pronunciation? (Gotta speak to them in their own language.)
November 23rd, 2010 at 10:43 AM ^
It wasn't until I read your post that I figured out it read F**K OSU...
I still be staring at it in confusion, like George Constanza and a hidden dot photo, if you hadn't told me...
November 23rd, 2010 at 10:36 AM ^
Markly was my Freshman year dorm and this is COMPLETELY fitting! Love it!
Go Blue, Beat OSU!
November 23rd, 2010 at 11:04 AM ^
James Earl??? Is that you??? Carriage 6...
November 23rd, 2010 at 12:23 PM ^
3rd Butler whaaaaat?
November 23rd, 2010 at 10:36 AM ^
As a former Markley resident, I support this message.
November 23rd, 2010 at 10:37 AM ^
PLEASE. DO. THIS.
November 23rd, 2010 at 10:38 AM ^
Wow... I just noticed the time stamp. 1977! That's pretty crazy. I guess f*ck was a bad word even then! :)
November 23rd, 2010 at 10:40 AM ^
I saw when he posted this last night, and had no idea it said, "Fuck OSU".
November 23rd, 2010 at 10:41 AM ^
Oh my.... I skimmed right past this in the other thread where it appeared and didn't even notice.
BRILLIANT.
November 23rd, 2010 at 10:41 AM ^
4th Reeves - rep your hood.
November 23rd, 2010 at 10:46 AM ^
the worst floor in the history of the uofm dorm system
we campus police on our floor 24/7
literally a police officer was stationed outside our bathroom
our janitor quit
it was like lord of the flies
November 23rd, 2010 at 11:44 AM ^
Scoffs at your notion of misery
November 23rd, 2010 at 2:08 PM ^
except it was all girls by the time I got there.
I will argue mine was worse on account of having the token bitchy or crazy freshman from each sorority, an RA quit, and I threatened to start a brawl with pretty much everyone after I found homophobic obscenities on my whiteboard one morning. Not only were people getting MIP'd left and right, at least 2 girls were taken out on stretchers on one occasion.
And our bathroom was the stuff of nightmares. Anyone who's had to clean both men's and women's room can tell you without a doubt women are filthier.
Needless to say, I shacked elsewhere.
Ok. I'm almost a year and a half late but stumbled upon this after drinking...
In 1992 some douches from 6th Blagdon took a dump in a dude on my hall's (6th Fisher) backpack. Blagdon has always been populated by animals.
November 23rd, 2010 at 10:59 AM ^
Yeah buddy, 4th Reeves had better represent!
November 23rd, 2010 at 12:59 PM ^
4th Reeves!
W.D.F.A.
November 23rd, 2010 at 2:32 PM ^
We Don't F*ck Around! Get'em boy!
Ken was the ultimate RA, because he was never there. We tore that place to shreds.
November 23rd, 2010 at 1:25 PM ^
4th Reeves 1999-2000
November 23rd, 2010 at 11:01 AM ^
...in 6th Fisher. Good times.
November 23rd, 2010 at 11:23 AM ^
4th Reeves was the shit. Best place to be a freshman.
November 23rd, 2010 at 11:50 AM ^
4th Reeves 2002-2003 school year. Maciej bounced and the new RA could not hold us down. I remember he caught us blazing one night and couldn't do anything about it. Had to hold meetings because of all the trash that was thrown in the hallway (treated like a frat house).
Man those were good times. RIP AM.
November 23rd, 2010 at 2:34 PM ^
I was the year before you and sounds like you are holding true to form. We had the same talk!
November 23rd, 2010 at 11:24 AM ^
Markley was so awesome.
November 23rd, 2010 at 11:28 AM ^
I was in Reeves. I can't remember if it was 3rd or 4th though. It was on the level of the main floor in Markley. What ever floor that was.
November 23rd, 2010 at 11:39 AM ^
4th Reeves holla holla holla
also, the main level of Markley is the 4th..
November 23rd, 2010 at 12:10 PM ^
Those who survived were champions!
November 23rd, 2010 at 12:22 PM ^
Right next to the cafeteria. Best floor in the whole dorm, IMO.
November 23rd, 2010 at 12:26 PM ^
As well. Good representation here
November 23rd, 2010 at 2:29 PM ^
4th Reeves 06-07. Holla atcha boyyy.
November 23rd, 2010 at 10:42 AM ^
Gnawing over a mound of Orange Chicken at the commons, I've eyed the windows at the art & architecture building and thought something similar may possibly be accomplished via strategic deployment of the blinds.
November 23rd, 2010 at 10:43 AM ^
I DEMAND ACTION
November 23rd, 2010 at 10:47 AM ^
I lived on the other side, so my room isn't even there. My only contribution was to be there when it happened, and to have the presence of mind to photograph it.
Here's a couple closeups I also took:
November 23rd, 2010 at 11:09 AM ^
But if you F OSU in Markley, and no one sees it, did it really happen? Being a recorder of history is as important as making it. The people who take the photo are often as well remembered as the subjects.
November 23rd, 2010 at 10:45 AM ^
3rd Reeves alum here who is upset that I could never have participated in this.
November 23rd, 2010 at 10:49 AM ^
1st Reeves '91-92, dorm hallway nerf football-dodgeball champion.
Represent, represent.
I endorse this message.
November 23rd, 2010 at 10:54 AM ^
and we were not allowed to participate. You'll notice the first floor under FUCK is dark. Hold on, now that I think about it, we did participate in a "lights off" fashion.
Go 1983!
November 23rd, 2010 at 11:08 AM ^
1990-91. The only good thing about 1st little was the huge windows that allowed cases and kegs to be snuck into the rooms. I think it was the year after mine that they put in new windows.
November 23rd, 2010 at 1:23 PM ^
Also 1st Little, being able to escape out the windows was also a nice plus besides being able to sneak things in. Was there anyone in the House Mother's suite at the end of the hall back in the 90s, or had it already been converted into a dorm room back then?
November 23rd, 2010 at 2:14 PM ^
It wasn't there in 1990. Every room was a double so I can't even guess where it might have been. Maybe they converted it into the lounge or something?
November 23rd, 2010 at 11:10 AM ^
There is no light.
You contributed.
November 23rd, 2010 at 10:55 AM ^
When the Game was before rather than after Thanksgiving, it was an easier thing to do (if, in fact, this was done all week.) But if all you're doing is working for a 9 to 9:15 pm photo opp, you should be able to do it tonight, right?
November 23rd, 2010 at 11:02 AM ^
Coordinating all those rooms and getting them to go along was enough of a pain. Girl's floors (rolleyes) were particularly stubborn about it being dumb and childish. So the ones who thought it was stupid were just asked to go to the UGLI and leave their lights in the proper state while the rest of us cackled with dumb childish glee.
November 23rd, 2010 at 10:56 AM ^
Why isn't this a yearly tradition? It's amazing.
(Spent two years in South Quad and loved every minute; now feeling slight twinge of regret for not living in Markley)
November 23rd, 2010 at 10:57 AM ^
We were all too drunk or too high, or both.
November 23rd, 2010 at 10:58 AM ^
It was a heated debate about which dorm was better... Markley or South Quad. As fratty as Markley felt at times, I loved living there. And hey, when your eventual wife and best friends through college are there too, you're a little biased.
