It's after noon on Friday. Time for a cocktail. Or maybe just the Wyoming Whiskey Reserve bourbon. Probably both.
Like a kidney stone, this too shall pass. And I trust in the destruction this M team will deliver. Relax, know that the team will be undeterred, and prep your vocal chords for the choruses of "FU Q Third Base" next week and "FU Q Toe Knee" the week after.

People need to take a breath. Losing Partridge sucks but the news drop from today doesn't change the big picture.
Bill Self literally had knowledge of illicit payments and got... nothing. In a sport where individual regular season games matter a whole lot less. Being suspended 3 games is a substantial penalty given zero evidence that Harbaugh was involved in any of this.

A show cause penalty for a coach who was not directly involved is a horrible precedent and Michigan should fight it tooth and nail if it came to that.

Even though the supposed “rules violations” make no sense and everyone is doing the same kind of thing, NCAA will try to “make an example” because they have no standards, Harbaugh pissed them off and they gave away massive amount of power when NIL became a thing. They need to be relevant. Pettiti needs to fired he has no idea what he’s doing, clearly.
Also, everyone should stop with the “if we did something wrong, we should be held accountable” crap. I would be all for this if sign stealing were illegal and no one else did it. Sign stealing is LEGAL, every team does it.
Anytime a staff or program takes sign information from another school that they obtained (from who knows where) and gives it, trades it, e-mails it, faxes it etc. to another school about to play said school. The people giving that information have acted as advanced scouts for the school receiving the information.
This logic has to be correct by NCAA standards with Stallions using 3rd parties for scouting.

One thought about Ohio game next week- Ryan Day’s job is on the line. If he can’t beat Michigan without Harbaugh, the Luckeye fan base will eat him alive. Start looking for replacement- they’re not beating us.

3 oz. Gray Whale Gin
1 oz. Blackberry Liquer
1 oz. Cointreau
2-3 oz. Lemon Juice
A Few Dashes Of Walnut Bitters
Shaken In Muddled Blackberries, Raspberries, Blueberries, and Basil Leaves.
Strain into a glass. Top with 2-3 oz. Tonic Water.
Enjoy.
