Do you know if Lindsay plans on visiting elsewhere?  I imagine this is the place he wants to be because he knows Nuss' system well already.

He'd be a huge boost in OL play and helping the youngsters learn the offense faster.

I see plenty of scenarios where they do...like 2015 or 2016 when our entire team is Juniors and sensiors and sprinkle in the Peppers and Damian Harris of the world. Mattison coaches defense like he is suppose to and Nuss coaches like a madman...Actually, If we are not in the playoff by 2016, I will be surprized.....

edit: oops missed the joke about getting "BAMA"s Nat C

Even in that scenario, I don't see Michigan getting an Alabama National Championship ring. Unless we moved the program to Tuscaloosa or something. Even then it's a longshot.

Our best bet is to look on ebay for a ring being sold by one of the players Saban cut.

He was the backup at Alabama until the starter got hurt and filled in very well for the last 5 games of the year I think. Would be a great get for us, especially because he already knows the offense which is even more useful as a center.

We should then keep in mind that the OC that didn't notice his superior skills and his positive team chemistry is now the OC for UM.  Second, he had another year of eligibility but was looking at going back to the bench as a back up when they guy he replaced, Kelly, returns next fall.

at center, as we all know.  this guy being a 1B option at 'bama still makes him very, very servicable.   but the bigger plus is that he knows the offense and all of it's complex terms.   that is absolutely critical for the center (smartest guy on the team) since he's the one walking up to the ball and begins the series of line-calls for the O-line.   'Tango! Tango!  X-ray!  X-ray!', and so the play begins....

A graduate transfer who started four games last year for Alabama.  He'd probably play center here, and I'd imagine he'd start right away.  His background is a 3 star, but had offers from most of the heavy hitters in the south.

But think of last years team, what would've happened if we even had a semi-competant O-line or even one with just one or two better players? Considering we lost to PSU, Iowa, Nebraska, and Ohio State be a combined 11 points (less than a FG per game) that you could imagine us squeaking out 1 or 2 of those as wins

So in knowledge of that. I welcome Alabama's 5th yr transfers and any other competant O-linemen that would like to transfer here. That's the unit that could make us or continue to break us
