Pretty hilarious.  I'd be shocked if anyone in a top 25 program shows but it is sort of evil genius in a way.  The 2 coach maximum per university also is genius - I could see some ballsy program maybe trying to show up if they could bring their whole crew but not with just 2 guys.

edit - just noticed the keynote speaker thing for SEC coaches.    Even more brilliant.

Very creative "Your move, bro". I have no doubt he would stroll in to Tuscaloosa, Columbus, or Afghanisatan if invited and it got the program exposure.  Can't wait to see who shows up for this.

"I'm not sure that the others want our coaches going to places like State College, Penn.,"Sankey said. "Because very clearly, if we do take the approach that others have ... it will certainly, I would expect, change the tone of the conversation."

The conversation just changed...Harbaugh says, "Bring it."

Yes, "insure" as in a coach, by participating in this camp, is essentially taking out an insurance policy that Harbaugh won't walk to their school and waste their candy ass.

Also Harbaugh would never use the word "ensure," which shares the name of a nutritional shake drank by those too infirm or weak to ingest nutrients the proper way; i.e. killing and eating game with your bare hands.

And drinking plentiful whole milk.

This is great because it brings national attention to Michigan's football camp. We all know as soon as you get a national perception of your camp being great (The Opening for example), big time prospects come. When the big time prospects come, they visit your campus. When you have an amazing campus and facilities like Michigan does, then anything can happen!

I doubt that either of them will show up to these camps, but I think it would be foolish of them to not at least send their top recruiters to as many of these events as possible. I'm sure they won't enjoy working for HARBAUGH, but at least they'll be able to interact with the recruits like the Michigan coaching staff will be.

I don't think you'll see very many big program coaches come to something like this. Urban invites selected coaches to Friday Night Lights but they're typically smaller regional program guys to look at the guys who would probably not get offers from the marquee programs.

I could see this going the way of SBSM, where top staffs show up, but I'd be surprised.

This is like throwing up a nice middle finger to Nick Saban after his comments the other day. I like it.

Its important to remember that despite having Harbaugh here, we're in rebuilding mode until proven otherwise. With that in mind, we need as much exposure with coaches and recruits as we can get. I'm glad Harbaugh is taking the initiative to have events like this. My only wonder is how does this guy have enough hours in the day for everything he's supposed to do?

Wait, what if 20 HCs want to be keynote speakers?  What then?  Can't there only be one keynote? I'm picturing 15 Power 5 conference coaches pushing each other aside to get to the podium.

Were they told that they could no longer do the satellite camps? Or is this just icing on the cake...?
