Because funding on Kickstarter is all or nothing, your pledge of $55.00 USD has been automatically canceled and your card will not be charged.

I think this was mentioned in the past, but they really should look into Indiegogo for funding. It has flex funding, so they can still get the money pledged to them even if it doesn't reach its goal. Since it's for a charitable organization, I think everyone would be okay with that.

That's rather a shame as the #Eating campaign is an excellent idea and something which exemplifies the "Michigan Difference", if you will allow. In this instance, giving back and making an impact on something about which you care deeply is what that means, at least in my opinion. I actually got that e-mail too, and I was a little bummed that it did not succeed.

But but but those were RR recruits and RR wasnt a Michigan Man and has no idea how to coach MEN into MEN and wasn't a GOOD GUY who talks about MANBALL and hearing FOOTBALL. Can't be real. RR wont work in this conference because he is a BAD GUY who YELLS at BOYS and doesnt know what #1 means!!1!!!

I don't think it shows the "Michigan Difference" so much as it shows the character of a few of our former players. I think that the "Michigan Difference" is an inherently false concept. It delivers credit to the wrong factors. I see it used as a crutch in many cases.
- What do you have that MSU and OSU do not, Mr. Hoke?
- Weyyyulll, this is Michigan FERGODSAKES. (That is a complete non-answer. There is nothing substantial about that.)
I'm not downplaying their contributions to charity, but if these two went to Northwestern, do you think that they wouldn't be trying to give back? Remember the whole Adreien Payne storyline? Is that the "Spartan Difference?"

Is there a way for them to team up with the athletic department to better advertise their cause? Its a good cause that needs money and the dept could sure use some good PR.

With this athletic department I doubt it. Dave Brandon has not been known to be helpful to former players.

But he probably would let them advertise if they made a substantial donation to the athletic department. Heck, he'll even go out of his way to honor former players if they buy their own tickets for the game.

They send out a message on kickstater a couple days ago that they will be trying again
Hello Everyone, We are writing to let you know that it looks like we will not meet our goal this kickstarter. This means that you will NOT BE charged on your card or account. Unfortunately, we did not get funded in October for our project because we did not get the minimum. We will re-post and work towards funding again because we are 1-1 now for kickstarters and we will keep at it until we can meet our gardening goals. We are doing lots of great things like reaching out to Ann Arbor Elementary schools like Scarlett Elementary and public housing projects to develop gardens up in Michigan. And we are ready to put new above ground vegetable beds in our Pahokee HOPE garden and begin to host elementary classes from Pahokee Elementary where we went to learn about healthy eating. You can find us at teameating.com and we should have a new campaign up in a few days. We have a few changes to make so that people can hear about us and what we are doing and we hope you all will join us again. If you have suggestions on how we can reach more people or have a great idea for a cool rewards or any suggestions to help us be successful please comment or respond.
