"Q: How much will the project cost? The project budget is estimated at $226 million; those costs will be funded through private donations and Athletic Department resources, primarily the revenues generated by the new seating.... Out of the total project cost of $226 million, we plan to cover $36 million from Athletic Department reserves and issue debt for the remaining $190 million. Our annual debt service is estimated to be about $12.4 million, with annual incremental revenues conservatively estimated at $12.8 million. " -http://www.umich.edu/stadium/faq/

hindsight is 20/20, franzen was playing really well when we signed him over hossa. |
| 2 weeks 4 days ago | my gut says "fuck those guys" |
my gut says "fuck those guys" because we just lost to the hawks, but objectively i think they might do okay. I dont know what lines they would play for us and next season with bertuzzi, helm and sammuelson we would have a lot of forwards that should probably be playing and only so much space (but im not up on the pending free agents so i dont know). |

| 3 weeks 17 hours ago | I dont think a rookie not |
I dont think a rookie not being able to take a starting job away from a 5 year veteran who started almost every game and just signed a 4 or 5 year deal with the colts to be their starting right tackle is a bad thing. Gos graded out pretty highly on profootballfocus in pass protection (top 10 actually) and was the 5th best OT in free agency, https://www.profootballfocus.com/blog/2013/02/15/ranking-the-2013-free-a... He was very good and if the lions had the cap space they would have kept him. |
| 3 weeks 17 hours ago | we also have our corners we |
we also have our corners we drafted from last season coming back off injury, bently and greenwood. greenwood has the size and speed to compete and bently was the other starter before his injury early in the season. and green was playing pretty solid ball at the end of the season. secondary should be at least decent this season if people stay healthy (delmas...) |

| 3 weeks 6 days ago | as soon as they moved the |
as soon as they moved the game before the super bowl it lost all hope because that guarentees there will be players dropping out of it. And it also used to be that last game before the offseason, the last taste of football for the next 6 months which had to have helped it and it was in hawaii so it was a nice wrap up for the season. but all the all star games are jokes anyways with the players being decided in the middle of the season. |
| 3 weeks 6 days ago | they used to have a skill |
they used to have a skill competition but looks like they got rid of it in 2007, I remember watching it and thinking it was pretty cool but its still not great for tv. It's like the combine or all those skill competitions they have before the high school all american games and stuff like that. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2009/02/08/pro-bowl-skills-competit... |

if you've been keeping up with your mgomemes you would know that people have been commenting on which recruiting service is the best based on who ranks our guys the highest. its all sarcasm (mostly). |
| 5 weeks 21 hours ago | unless a reciever plays on |
unless a reciever plays on the same side for a whole game and the defense plays the same defense for a whole game whoever is in coverage on a reciever changes from play to play at every level of football. gallon had a catch for 70ish yards against alabama and they are pretty solid on defense. Taking into account the defense needs to take into account the pass rush, time the QB has to throw, how well the QB can throw, then the coverage of the linebackers/safties/corners, the defense called on a given play and what the offense has called and then whether or not the reciever caught the ball, was he able to make a man miss and get extra yards or was the throw right on the sideline so he had to fall out of bounds to make the catch. There are a lot of other variables outside of the recievers control which arent taken into account by this metric but it would be nearly impossible to cram all that information into a stat. This metric seems pretty solid as it takes into account targets and catch percentage as well as trying to limit yardage by how often the team throws etc. Nobody is saying he is going to win the heisman but this metric does show his value to the team which should be pretty clear to everybody from watching him. And having a more accurate quarterback will help his stats since he is a smaller reciever and doesnt have the catching radius of someone like funchess simply because of his height. |

you are so oooooooold. I hope you dont ever look at Bacari Alexander's during one of his patented tweet blitzes #HALOL. he goes HARD on his tweets, guess we should be worried about him not focusing on coaching.... oh wait we went to the championship game. #GetOffMyInterwebsOldMan |
| 5 weeks 5 days ago | yeah nobody really thinks |
yeah nobody really thinks that $200,000 for out of state is a lot of money when compared to potential millions a first rounf pick gets but it's a lot of money and being able to graduate college debt free is a big boost. Plus being an athlete at a large school gives a visibility to the individual which allows them to be more marketable and have a base of fans to reach out to. Look at what vincent smith, martavious odoms and scooter vaughn have done with their successful kickstarters. there are benefits that dont translate in to dollars. |
| 5 weeks 5 days ago | i dont think anybody needs to |
i dont think anybody needs to apologize really. They should just get DB in a room with the fab five, have a big group hug and raise a banner for them. Bring everybody back for the first game i guess (if only the duke game was at crisler). wham bam problem solved |

| 5 weeks 6 days ago | if you are in the MMB you |
if you are in the MMB you have to actually pay a lab fee to be in it, the alumni can hire you for gigs and events, you help bring in millions in donations, and you dont see any of that money. You pay for your tuition, room and board, go to class and practice an extra 20ish hours a week. some have to take a job or two to pay rent or to stay in school. and i believe athletes are allowed to have jobs as long as they get paid at the market rate for the work. |

oline might not have been great at run blocking but their pass protection was solid all season. omameh was always at his best either releasing out onto the linebacker (see denards run at notre dame in 2010), he was never that mauling guard that just shoved people out of the way |

thats what everybody thought about indiana this year but it'll still be close i figure. We should be as good maybe a better matchup with state, OSU is still solid, wiscy is always tough. |

drafted before kenjon barner, rex burkhead and bacari rambo? color me shocked but best of luck to him |
| 7 weeks 4 days ago | it was a down year or the B1G |
and most of the good players were juniors/underclassmen. Short from purdue and hankins from OSU were projected as 1st rounders before the combine and senior bowls, so was Lewan but he came back to school. there was a lot of movement over players projected draft spots this year, look at moore from texas a&m he was projected top 5 for some reason now is maybe at the end of the 2nd round. |
