University of Northern Colorado to play for his dad and team back up with Tru Wilson. UNC is playing a spring schedule so he will start playing games in late February

That's cool... don't get that kind of chance again to be coached by your dad.

Good luck to DMC! I hope he does well and will be interested to see how he does

Well at least his dad will utilize his talents properly.  If he still can't get things right then at least they can't blame anyone but themselves.

Lloyd got fan-fired for not being undefeated enough. Harbaugh conceded his offensive strategy for not beating OSU enough.

See the similarity? Including the result?

No school that holds athletes to any sort of academic standard is going to compete in this environment of no rule enforcement with schools that have no or very phony-ish standards and is paying kids.

Right now cheaters win at college football. We're not beating OSU with any system with the talent gap and the talent gap is not going to close tangibly as long as OSU and the like gets to cheat.

He'll always be remembered by me as the last QB who I thought would save the program. Never again will I get excited, until I see it results on the field. Ryan Mallet, Devin Gardner, Shane Morris, and Dylan. That's where my hype train ended, permanently.

Devin Gardner had some amazing games here.  He had no blocking in the middle of the line. I don't put him in that group at all.  If he had a better play call for the 2 pt conversion, he would have pulled off one of the great performances against OSU (still pretty amazing to do what he did on a broken foot).

I don't see how he fits in that group at all.

I'd imagine it'll give him a good chance to showcase his abilities and then potentially transfer after the spring season to play for a D1 FBS school if he chooses to.

Christian McCaffrey comments on Dylan McCaffrey transfer saga

'Speaking to the media on Monday for the first time since suffering a shoulder injury in Week Nine against the Kansas City Chiefs, Christian McCaffrey was asked if he knew anything about where his younger brother would transfer to, and whether he would keep things in the family and go to Northern Colorado, where his father serves as the head coach of the Bears.

"I really have no idea," said McCaffrey. "I think he's got to finish school first before he does the portal deal and goes through the whole recruiting process again."'

Northern Colorado plays in the spring so now it's perfectly clear why McCaffrey had to sit out this season to preserve eligibility even though he remained in classes at Michigan.
