Draymond Green took an elbow to the face during last night's game and the refs refused to blow the play dead

... because everyone knows Draymond's a bully!

The article has a tweet with video of some of his punching, kicking, etc. There's a second tweet that shows the elbow and Draymond going down in the paint.  His teammates keep on playing 5 on 4 and the refs swallow their whistles for a couple of trips up an down the court.  Must see TV!!

Play dumb games, win dumb prizes!

Just desserts is correct.  His own teammates didn’t stop to see if he was ok.  And, the refs are supposed to blow the whistle if there is an injury.  NOBODY CARES THAT HE’S HURT and I find that hilarious. 😂

I had a hard time seeing the “elbow” in the video.  Then he’s off to the showers.

The contact didn't even look that bad. Classic case of "can dish it, can't take it."

That said, something is wrong in that dude's head.

EDIT: maybe it wasn't called because he has literally done the exact same thing before earlier in the season

Green is the dirtiest player in the history of the NBA. And I say that having watched Bruce Bowen try to injure guys for years. Glad he’s getting treatment especially on a pretty obvious flop.

He used to be very skilled and fit well with what the Warriors wanted to do, but he’s overshadowed all of that with his dirty play  he will forever be remembered for being dirty first and foremost.

Bowen's dirty play was unique, and reminded me of when I reffed the Old Timer's League here in town. And there's always that one old guy who's still fast & wiry, while the other guys are slow. And he's constantly pulling the chair, undercutting, jumping up yelling "dead" in the old codger's face until he inevitably gets decked. Just constantly in your personal space.

The fact his teammates didn't call a TO and instead nearly landed on him after a dunk makes it even funnier.

But yeah, it sorta looked like a flop and then instead of getting up he tried to flop around for a foul and at this point he's no longer good enough of a player for people to even put up with his act.  Glad he got a tiny bit of comeuppance for his history.

Team "culture" seems strong. They were careful not to trip over him so that was nice. Only thing better would be the ball blasting him from his teammates' dunk.
