I'm pretty sure they keep your Uniquename active for eternity. I know as an alum my umich email still works. I use it to sign into the alumni assciation website, and if I needed to request a transcript for grad school I would probably use it for that as well. I assume as an employee they would gvie you access to your W-2s and retirement information for eternity as well. That said I know your comment was a bit tongue in cheek

It was tongue and cheek...but after your post I was curious what systems I still had access to.

Answer: Not good in regards to the security of sensitive information within the UMHS infrastructure.

Stopping now since all that is auditable - but might raise some "anonymous" concerns to some people in the know at UMHS.

This after reading the Medical Records are now more highly sought after by hackers than SSN's.

SchrondingersCat has got you covered. If you didn't know about it, though, just think of how many other people don't either. Spread it. It's worth adding to the pile. On it's own I doubt it's enough, though.

Maybe the mods can be super kind and bump the link (doesn't have to be my post specifically, but it'd be nice if the link doesn't get buried).

Maybe I read it wrong, but I think the meeting is just a regular 'ol type of meeting which going to have Concussion-gate put on the adgenda at the last minute.  Not a meeting soley for the situation.  And the bigger issue is really Brandon-gate.  I.e. the scandal of how he still has a job.  Hopefully that is addressed as well.  I somehow doubt anything happens though.

They'd have to be in a cave (or on a sailboat in the middle of the ocean) to avoid the cacophony.

Nevertheless, +Eleventy-Billion to Dr. Schlissel for being the adult here.

OR,

they are just meeting to look like they "are doing something" and will appoint a person to make a study about how player safety is handled in all sports whose report will be given to a new committee blah blah blah

The major legal issue relating to a Regents' meeting is compliance with the Open Meetings Act since the Board of Regents is a public body. A special meeting of the Regents would have to be publicly announced no earlier than 18 hrs in advance.

For those of you who are interested, here is a handbook from the state on the Open Meetings Act: http://www.michigan.gov/documents/ag/OMA_handbook_287134_7.pdf.

guess also.

"Concussion-gate" has massive traction on this site, but really nationally it has not really taken like I think a lot of people on this site think it has.  Mike and Mike were discussion it this morning and basically said "if they were winning it would not have been a big deal and if they start to win again it will be quickly forgotten."

It is not sniffing a "top story" on SportsCenter.  It is being treated like a Penn State level scandal here but the conclusion by a lot of the talking heads seems to remain "well they really need to beat Rutgers."

This site is calling for boycotts, rallies, and petitions.  The rest of the country is kind of like "meh, well it looks like Hoke is on his way out after this year."

Not really taken nationally? Have you not noticed the coverage on ABC national news, the TODAY Show, Good Morning America, New York Times article, and the USATODAY article? I'd call that national coverage.

I think 7 of the 8 Regents are attorneys. Should be interesting to see how the view the handling of the situation since Brandon's crap-tastic statement was probably written by attorneys.
