Maybe it had something to do with Michigan making halftime D adjustments to take away the misdirection/QB roll outs and Iowa failing miserably in the Red Zone…..?

I agree and recognize that. I also suspect that Petras would feel a bit miffed at the unorthodox QB shuffling, not getting a chance to face the challenge since the sub did so poorly.

Would have not of mattered, almost all those yards for Iowa before the change came on PA rollouts and once UM took those away neither QB was going to have any success.

Pure speculation here: I wonder if Petras was ever really ok after Hawkins crushed him. Maybe it just took until halftime-ish for the adrenaline to wear off and the effect to set in.

So, I started following this team in 2009, and desipte some positive moments (UTL, Denard, etc.), in my sports fandom lifetime I have never seen a Michigan football team win the Big Ten. Hopefully this is a real catalyst to many more in the future.

Saw chairs early in broadcast and I was optimistic the team would play relaxed, and not make mistakes from being too tight.
