If the weather is dry, York outdoor patio is possibly the best toddler restaurant in town. Biercamp, too, in the same situation.

Spencer is arguably the best restaurant in town, but since covid has moved to pre-booked fixed-price menus.

I’m an A2 resident and hear/read this parking complaint often, but cannot for the life of me understand it.

There are several giant parking garages all in the downtown (main to state) district. It’s not hard to find them and park, and really just means you have to walk a block or two to your destination.

The Miami booster gets…

It's just a shell [company] game.

The Miami booster gets around any issues because he is creating a new company specifically for the purpose of distributing money to players for NIL. Because the company has never donated to the U before, it is not a problem within the state of Florida NIL law. I think--mostly-- all of the states with NIL laws are set up similarly, and the federal law, too, for states without their own.

"Although Lambert is a Miami booster, Florida’s NIL law don’t prohibit Bring Back The U from facilitating endorsements because it’s a new business that has never donated to the university."

I just received word last night that a friend's wife and brother got their positive test results back ... after 10 days! He is still waiting for his results, but assumes positive. Luckily they are all doing well now, and they had been self-isolating during those 10 days.

I was also under the impression results would come back in ~4 days, and maybe that is the case now that testing has ramped up? Who knows anymore.

I don't think you're…

An antibody will protect the host, but won't prevent the spread to others without the antibody.

On the other hand, confirmed antibodies would greatly assist in protecting those without them via blood plasma donations. I also think they could be used in vaccine development (?)

I recommend checking the source website, and not a random aggregator:

https://www.michigan.gov/coronavirus/0,9753,7-406-98163-520743--,00.html

It explicitly states that "Total samples tested includes test that were negative, positive, and inconclusive."

3/25 1pm numbers = 6550 negative tests.

My recommendations for large

My recommendations for large selection were Ashley's and Hopcat. I happen to like IPAs, and think that the food and atmosphere at HOMES are superior to Wolverine.

If you want a local brewery with more than some really good IPAs, I would recommend checking out Wolverine.

Spencer has the best food in

Spencer has the best food in town as far as 'foodie' restaurants go, but could be hard to get seating for 10.

HOMES Brewery is easily accessible, has great beer and korean fusion food. Also a really good indoor/outdoor seating situation, and TVs.

Wolverine State Brewing doesn't have quite as much seating as HOMES, but more beer. Get the nachos.

Mani (pizza / Italian small plates) and Isalita (Mexican) are at Liberty and Division, and are both amazing. Likely will be crowded both nights.

Lunch Room is all vegan, but you wouldn't know it by the taste. And has a full bar.

Cardamom is the best Indian food in town, but is on Plymouth Rd, which may be a hike depending on where you're staying.

I haven't gone on a gameday, but Biercamp is ideally situated if you're tailgating near State St.

If you want take out, the best chicken around is from Seoul Street. Plan for an hour wait to pickup.

The Last Word and Ravens Club for cocktails. And Ann Arbor Distilling, which is a bit further out from downtown.

Knight's for strong pours on cocktails and wines.

Ashley's for lots of beers. Hopcat for lots of TVs and beers.

Grange upstairs (first come, first served) has 'bar food' options in addition to the regular menu. Full bar, wine selection, beer selection.

Sleepy-- maybe.Definitely

Sleepy-- maybe.

Definitely not a little town, though. It's the largest city in Florida, and 12th largest in the country.

Speight

Speight starts the entire season, enters the draft, and goes in the 2nd or 3rd round.

Peters gets mop-up reps, and takes over in 2018.

Ownership will decrease

You're assuming that people actually own a car as a sunk cost. The biggest benefit to the autonomous revolution is that people won't own cars. The reason this is happening is because people don't want to own cars. Plenty of statistics on "those damn kids" not getting their licenses, and correlated signals such as car prices increasing and sub-prime car loans piling up.

I still agree with you that the convenience of the autonomous electric car will overpower any train discussions, but only locally (i.e. SE Michigan). Trains still have a say in the multiple-hour trip, because of the convenience of walking around, having a bathroom, food options, etc. Airports suck so much nowadays that trains have an opportunity to take back some of that market.

Useful once

Not so fast, my friend!

I once filed a report against American Airlines with the BBB of Dallas. It was useful, and ended up getting me $1000 in vouchers and 30k miles on my account. Previously, AA had ignored all of my inquiries.

Turns out the antiquated systems in our society can be helpful when dealing with antiquated corporations.

Not offside

I agree with the sentiment that a single missed shot isn't a good enough reason to ban him from the USMNT.

However, for the record, that goal would have counted. It was confirmed after the game that the linesman was signaling goal kick, and did not call Wondo offside (because he was not).

edit:  messed up the reply to the Wondolowski posts

Wait, wut?

I tried to find a video to refresh my memory of Jack Bandit.... and the top hit for "jack bandit doug" has only confused me more.

I can't not comment on this ironic statement.

Brian is not hiding behind a keyboard. Brian is a well-known person who uses his blog as a meduim to reach a larger audience. You can email him, or find him easily in public since he shows his face at most major U of M sporting events.

MGoBubbler, on the other hand, is not likely your real name. We don't know who you are. You are the one hiding behind a keyboard.

"3pt leads shouldn't be lost

"3pt leads shouldn't be lost on a fluky hailmary or desperation shot."

I think this is the type of idea they would be trying to break. You're only basing this opinion on years of basketball watching, but really it's totally arbitrary. 3pt leads are only important because of the 2pt and 3pt shots. If a 4pt shot were to become part of the game, we would shift our attitudes to protect a 4pt lead.
