September 17th, 2010 at 5:12 PM ^
Just wait til it's filled with 110,000. Enjoy your pay check and take it like a man.
September 17th, 2010 at 5:25 PM ^
Those other 3,000 will really make a difference!
September 17th, 2010 at 5:13 PM ^
IF they only knew what's coming their way tomorrow...
September 17th, 2010 at 5:13 PM ^
It's gonna be ugly tomorrow. Welcome to Death Roh!
September 17th, 2010 at 5:14 PM ^
they're gonna "shock the world?" Then dude man at the end says it should be called "the little house on the prairie." Poor guy, I don't think he realizes what is about to hit him.
Time to hang 70 on 'em.
September 17th, 2010 at 5:20 PM ^
Yeah, seriously? Little house on the prairie? How many doesn the UMass stadium hold, 12,000? We have that many in our press box.
Now I hope we make them look like Delaware State's little brother.
September 17th, 2010 at 5:40 PM ^
It's true.
September 17th, 2010 at 6:18 PM ^
I think you meant to say "The lines to the bathrooms at the Big House hold that many."
September 17th, 2010 at 9:01 PM ^
Warren P. McGuirk Alumni Stadium
Capacity: 17,000
September 17th, 2010 at 9:45 PM ^
+1 to you.
However, you still go to grad school in South Bend, and that poor dog in your picture.... talk about humiliation of animals.
September 17th, 2010 at 10:13 PM ^
I'm bringing this shit down from the inside.
September 17th, 2010 at 10:39 PM ^
our guys would probably pull out the camera phones and take pictures.
"lol, check out how small UMass is written in the endzone, maybe after our $550k capital infusion they can afford more paint."
September 17th, 2010 at 5:32 PM ^
Actually they might not get hit by anything......its more likely that it will run by them with Dilithium blazing speed.
September 17th, 2010 at 7:12 PM ^
"It's not the running by at blazing speed that hurts. It's the sudden stop at the end, when you hit that wall." Or so I've heard. Then again, the guy who said that was a d-bag.
September 17th, 2010 at 6:16 PM ^
the jaws on the ground after they entered told a different story.
September 17th, 2010 at 9:46 PM ^
I know that was an insult but it is kind of funny.
September 17th, 2010 at 5:17 PM ^
Little house on the prairie? O.K.
September 17th, 2010 at 6:57 PM ^
Pretty sure it's called "sarcasm". More examples can be found elsewhere on the internet.
September 17th, 2010 at 11:08 PM ^
What just happened here?
September 17th, 2010 at 5:23 PM ^
I can't wait until we have 2 Texas-sized videoboards at opposite ends of the stadium. Those scoreboards are the last vestige of a pre-expansion Big House. They need to get bigger-er too. I'm sure Brandon's office is on it.
September 17th, 2010 at 5:23 PM ^
If the Michigan players arrived at the UMASS stadium, they wouldn't be pulling out their camera phones.
September 17th, 2010 at 5:27 PM ^
But they would be pulling up Google maps on their camera phones.
September 17th, 2010 at 5:24 PM ^
...STAT!
September 17th, 2010 at 5:31 PM ^
thinking the same thing... facebook stalkers get to work...
September 17th, 2010 at 5:24 PM ^
I think they know they don't have a shot (please dear God let that be true). What else are they going to say, "We're gonna get our clocks cleaned"? You can tell they were in awe of that glorious stadium and seemed like nice kids. "That's a big screen! They got two of them!"
Is it tomorrow yet?
September 17th, 2010 at 5:32 PM ^
You got it. You also have to remember that this is the biggest stadium any of these kids have ever played in. In fact, the largest crowd to ever watch a UMass football game was 53,000 at Texas Tech a few years ago. The 4th and 5th largest crowds to ever watch any UMass athletic event were for Men's Lacrosse. There is probably just one kid who has ever played in a stadium close to that big, and that would be the Syracuse transfer who I'm guessing played at ND a couple years ago. Otherwise, this is a first for most of the players. I'd want to take pictures of the BIGGEST House, too. Imagine - the seating capacity is NINE TIMES that of their home field and more than DOUBLE the previous largest crowd in UMass history. This is a big deal for these kids. They're just trying to acquit themselves well tomorrow.
September 17th, 2010 at 5:41 PM ^
Yeah, I'm not really offended. They've got to put on a show of bravado - they're football players. But I bet they'll have massive butterflies in their stomachs. This is probably the highlight of their careers.

September 17th, 2010 at 5:26 PM ^
bulletin board material UMass. RRod needs to scrawl "Little House on the Prairie!?" across the chalkboard tomorrow morning!
September 17th, 2010 at 5:28 PM ^
like Pa Ingalls' mule.
September 17th, 2010 at 8:32 PM ^
...Little Brother but Half-Pint.
September 17th, 2010 at 5:33 PM ^
on the chalk board to get the team ready for UMass, we're in serious trouble to begin with
September 17th, 2010 at 5:30 PM ^
Sorry #11, Mr. Saftey......it's going to be a long day for you on the prairie. Hope you brought your running shoes. At least you will "Look pretty".
September 17th, 2010 at 9:27 PM ^
What's he going to say? "Holy hell. I think I'm pooping in my pants"?
September 17th, 2010 at 5:33 PM ^
Im not worried ... they seem to have alot of guys with short stumpy legs
September 17th, 2010 at 6:59 PM ^
Grit abounds!
September 17th, 2010 at 5:34 PM ^
September 17th, 2010 at 5:36 PM ^
Cocky little bastards, aren't they?
September 17th, 2010 at 5:37 PM ^
Well, according to the guys on 'Around the Horn' today,UMass held Armanti Edwards to about 230 yards a couple years ago, so they'll contain Denard tomorrow. Of course, they also mentioned, ominously, that the last time Michigan played an FCS team at home, it was...Appalachian State. More ESPN greatness.
September 17th, 2010 at 5:40 PM ^
Except it was Deleware State.
September 17th, 2010 at 5:42 PM ^
Even though this is an almost entirely new Michigan team on the field tommorrow, I still feel like we've got another year or two of probation before we can start talking trash to I-AA schools after 08-09.
September 17th, 2010 at 5:50 PM ^
I don't think we really need to be talking trash to I-AA teams in the first place.
September 17th, 2010 at 5:43 PM ^
Someone needs to put this vid on Barwis's facebook and some of the other players if you are friends with them.
September 17th, 2010 at 6:13 PM ^
I like it. That's what I'd want my players saying in that situation.
September 17th, 2010 at 6:34 PM ^
Well at least they can talk the talk, but the nation will see if Mich can walk the walk, yes I said the nation, believe it or not people want to see if our Mich Men are for real...everyone I've talk to says there gonna watch this game(at least in Cols Ohio) there are some Buckeyes that want to see the Wolvs fall flat on there faces...I know its a FCS team.. I realize that they dont compare athlete to athlete....but Dont take this game lightly....We have to prove that not only are we on our way back, but have to show consistantacy!!!!!!!!!!! GO BLUE IN COLUMBUS, OHIO......... O-H-Hell-NO!!!!!
September 17th, 2010 at 7:58 PM ^
Well, considering the game is on the BTN, most of the nation will NOT see this game, even if they wanted to. I'm trying to figure out how I'm going to see it, since I'm not even sure the BTN will have it out here.
September 17th, 2010 at 7:02 PM ^
I heard on the radio there were pictures on twitter that when they were in the stadium at some point the score board flashed Umass 20 U of M 16. Has anyone seen these?
September 17th, 2010 at 8:08 PM ^
it was alluding to the fact that UMass would need 20 guys to line up on D to stop #16.
September 17th, 2010 at 8:49 PM ^
The only just punishment is to go for 2 every TD we get, run up the score. Crush these bugs.
I hope the players all see this by game time tomorrow.
