- Much of our target market, from a home value standpoint, is going to be in the type of developments where they go in, clear and level the land prior to putting up homes.
- We'll selll "shims" if you will in 1" and 3" increments to level in spots where needed.
- You'd have to level your grade prior to installing.

So you'd have to level the ground yourself - or you could use what is shown in the image.
There will be some settling, but the design of the Pier (part that goes directly on the ground), is rounded on top and allows for that settling to take place.

Let the OT debate rage on! Nevertheless, the major savings comes in the way of installation time/costs. Many people, understandably so, want the real thing in a wood deck or want something more custom that fits their home and personality.
The material won't be too far from that of a composite decking product you could go buy from Home Depot or Lowes. The system is structurally sound enough to support the weight of a hot tub at full load... which equates to >100 lbs/sq foot.
The "even-ness" as you put it is most peoples biggest hang up. Three things:
Again, think of the 8 feet wide Intex swimming pools that have grown in popularity and have to be installed on a level grade -- that consumer is mostly our target market.
I'll also add - any time you install cement or a permanent deck you typically need a permit. This eliminates that cost, hassle, and i believe you pay more property taxes as a result of pulling a permit (not sure on the tax part).

Thanks... yea I was hesitant to post on here, but I'm familiar with this board and I know that if it's a shitty enough post the mods will just delete it and end of story.
appreciate the feedback...

Thanks for the bite. It's a tough proposition, however, anything you buy in this arena (decking/patio) is a substantial cost, huge job, installation with skilled labor, etc. with permits, equipment, tools, etc. So we've tried to eliminate all of those things with our offering.
The pricing probably needs some adjusting for sure...

Shark Tank is an awesome show! I'd get eaten alive on there at this point since we don't have any sales... one of the two big-boxes has agreed to put on their website (zero risk for them) so we have that going for us!
|3 years 33 weeks ago||Thanks for the bite. 1. We||
Thanks for the bite.
1. We have a couple accessory components to level the grade. Otherwise the user would have to do so themselves. Our target market would be similar to the yards where you'd find a large blow up pool. So, homes that are valued in that $75-$200K range. If you have a nice home, big yard, etc. - you will want a real deck or something custom for your home.
2. The website shows a prototype... final product will be in a Cedar Red or a Flint Grey color. Will still be a "plastic" product though. So that may be a hang up either way.
3. The website is a bit clunky and needs to be changed a bit. We won't have product ready for delivery until Spring ...
Thanks for the feedback!

thx for the feedback. It's a new concept that may wind up having a lot more commercial applications than residential for that reason...
|3 years 33 weeks ago||You are right - the lego||
You are right - the lego comparison is one that is often brought up. The final product will appear more like a typical "composite" deck that you'd find at a Lowe's or Home Depot.

Understand... thought the "very OT" might be acceptable...
|3 years 33 weeks ago||I should add...||
I'm genuinly interested in feedback about the product and am not trying to spam or push sales on this thing... the product isn't even available yet nor could i process a sale if i wanted to!

Michigan won. Times are changing and Michigan won. Get over it dude! Michigan got jobbed on Toussaint's TD, Ohio basically lucked out in the turnover dept - you can play the "lucky" card all day long. Michigan was lucky Braxton's accuracy isn't good. Ohio was lucky Michigan didn't snag their fumble and lucky the replay official blows a wad.
Michigan's 5-7 bowl-less 2009 team lost to the BCS bound Ohio team by a score of 21-10 and threw the game with mass-turnovers in the red-zone. Michigan lost. End of story. Excuses are lame.
So, in summary, a loss is a loss is a loss is a loss. Just a typical fan - losing to a rival then reverting back to recent wins and a future of hypotheticals.
|4 years 36 weeks ago||Agree||
I agree with most of this. Devin's mistakes were indicative of a guy that doesn't have near the awareness you need your field general to have.
Denard was not put in a position to succeed. I had a guy tell me after yesterday's game that Denard is just not a passer. While he's not doing well, no quarterback could have done well yesterday because he was that pressured.
Gotta stick with Denard and put him in a position to make a read or two before he's being tackled or running.
|4 years 37 weeks ago||I don't want||
I don't want to do this. Fridays are supposed to be fun man.
|4 years 37 weeks ago||I think you are correct.||
Now that I think about it - I think I only saw it when I watched the game Sunday (thx to Sat. night wedding). Someone will get it posted.. MGoVideo usually gets the entire games posted...
|4 years 37 weeks ago||V Smoov||
I remember seeing V Smith do that, but can't recall when. There was only one 4th down conversion and it was in the 2nd quarter. I watched that play and didn't see anything...
|4 years 37 weeks ago||Not to be a dick||
But, in my opinion that is an absolutley awful video (1) I'm way beyond all things RR, and (2) I would never choose to listen to whatever song that was.
|4 years 39 weeks ago||Too much of a good thing?||
Bring on the content.
|4 years 39 weeks ago||On the first one :29||
Denard is essentially weaving his way while the defender is running a straight line.
So - I don't even think I'd say he was pulling away at that point.
|4 years 39 weeks ago||Silly||
This is just a silly subject. You're talking minute, fractions of a second. Denard is still Denard. What makes Denard so special? It starts with his ridiculous speed.
Denard has moves in addition to his speed. Just check out the 3rd and fifteen play in the second quarter of the SDSU game (not so shameless plug - hit up my sig link and I have it tee'd up on my blog highlighting that play where he dances and burns in the same play).
|4 years 40 weeks ago||Segment||
This is quickly turning into one of those segments that I thoroughly read....
Along with Ace, I'm a fan of "puntmuffin". Well done.
|4 years 40 weeks ago||Wow||
This is going to be a fascinating book that may change existing opinions of so-called legends like Lloyd Carr.
Simply can't wait to read this.
|4 years 40 weeks ago||Could make sense...||
Might be the most logical option at that point.
Don't worry though, there will be an entirely new proposed to-do on conference realignment in the next 12-18 hours.
|4 years 41 weeks ago||Thanks man...||
I've been fortunate and been to several games with my dad. I look forward to the tailgate with him just as much as the game itself... so, glad I could help a brother out. Every dude deserves the experience with his pops.
Thanks, too. I've kind of learned it's just part of life. We all go at some point and she's suffered waaaay too long. Too many surgeries, chemo, surgeries, more chemo, etc. Worst part is she's only 53 and my little bro is 15... so i feel bad for my bro.
But hey, enough on all that. Appreciate all you great M fans. Go Blue.
|4 years 41 weeks ago||No worries||
I'll drop you a text. I'd recommend early morning if it makes no difference to you. It's extremely dark out this way in the country...you'll have an easier time in the AM.
|4 years 41 weeks ago||No doubt about it my friend||
I just google mapped Morenci to Neapolis, OH. It's gonna be 30-35 miles pending your Morenci location.
I'd be happy to do that for you - nothing like a father-son day in the big house.
I could drive a short way to meet you if it works out timing wise (mom needs someone here at all times, so I probably can't leave the house unless a nurse shows up, which they do here and there) - - otherwise, I can give you the address here.... let me know how you feel bout that drive and what time you'd be by to pick them up..
|4 years 41 weeks ago||Really though.||
If you can make it out this way or already live west of Toledo - tickets are yours... If interested, let me know - directions will follow.
|4 years 41 weeks ago||Thanks||
Thanks guys. Yea not to get too into it, but she's doing the in-home hospice deal now. Ovarian cancer got the best of her. Gotta do what you gotta do though, don't want those regrets later in life. A2 isn't goin' anywhere! I'm looking foward to catching the whole deal on BTN and that 3:30 game too.
|4 years 41 weeks ago||That's Low||
Speaking of tix. I have two endzone seats 42 rows up (section 13) that I'm not going to be able to use. My mother is sick and had an episode tonight and it's going to keep me from going to the game.
My mom lives out in the Swanton / Wauseon / Delta area about 30-40 mins west of Toledo. I don't really mind what I get for them. Face is $70 but damn, if you can get 'em for that low on StubHub... if you want 'em you can bring me a nice large cup of bean juice from McDonald's or something and we'll call it even.
Holler if at all interested and you live out this way....
|4 years 41 weeks ago||Seriously||
Those are ugly as a mugg. Not really ever impressed with any of the pro-combat uni's. I think I've liked a couple of Boise's renditions...but that's about it.
Like those Arizona State jersey's from the other night - these for the spartans are fugly.
