LOVE IT OR LEAVE IT.
I think I may have caused a disturbance at work... I was running through the halls, fist pumping! AWESOME!
After coming back to work after going home for the game, I am still too amped to get anything done today. But, who cares?! After a whole game of almosts (and should have beens) that was just an incredible ending. Can't believe I have to stay at work for another 5 hours.
I don't think I've ever yelled so loudly or so lustily about anything but Michigan football.
i don't think i've ever celebrated a soccer goal ever until that! awesome!
I screamed so loud that I scared the diaper off my daughter. It literally took me 20 minutes to get her settled back down.
USA!!!!
YOU CAN GETTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT OUT!

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO MUPPPPPPETS
Thought it was over, that was WILD.
Donovan, you showboater, just trying to make it dramatic...
I have a feeling that game is going to spark some huge support for soccer in this country.
I was rounding and stopped outside a pts room who was watching it. I just stood there for the remaining 20 minutes of game time. After the US scored, I raised my arms with a muffled yelp while hearing people cheer all down the hallway. A nurse I know saw me and frantically ran over yelling "Did they score!? Did they score!?" While explaining what happened to her, I saw a nurse aid hugging someone from PT. This is what makes the World Cup awesome.
Staff and patients alike excited and cheering, and many of our patients are very sick too. My eyes were teary, I was half embarrased over how proud I felt -trying to remain professional but wanting to jump around like a screaming banshee- trying not to do anything to alarm our patients, but that was a great moment. You're right, this is what makes World Cup very special.
Party at Stanzi's house tonight!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
J Leman
Hero status.
THE USA IS NEVER OFF TOPIC!!!!!!!
YEAY LANDON DONOVAN!!!!!
i really wish team usa players/coaches would stop crying in their post-game interviews.
men don't cry, only littly babbys do.
Ironic that you would post that based on your username.
Cry all you want USA!!
You obv never won something you cared about BIG GAY
babby? some sort of alternate version of a baby?
christ almighty, -30? you guys are really something.
-31. Drop the negativity. This is a moment these guys have been waiting for their whole lives. They have earned the right to cry.
You comment on a thread that was created for the sole purpose of celebrating the United States' victory and bash the team. What did you expect?
you win something like that ... you cry ... tears of joy
i cried when they scored, and i am dammed proud of it, damn proud of that team, damn proud of their effort and never say die attitude, and damn proud to be an american
doesnt get any better than that.
Never fails to send a chill down my spine every time I hear the call...
USA #1
I wish I could have seen this at home!! Gamecast just doesn't do it justice!! This is why I love soccer.......every four years for a few weeks.
That was quite an anxious ride, and it is nice that the USA could win, especially considering the fact the officials questionably disallowed another goal early. How did Altidore miss so badly?
WOOOOOOOOOO
GOOOOOOOOOOBBBBBBBBBBRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRZZZZZZFFFFFFFFFZZZZZZZZZZZRRRRRRRRRHHHHHHHHHH AAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
FRZB
Landon Donovan 2012.
I know you're just being an instigator, but it drives me nuts when people say stuff like that seriously. 99% of the country has never worked half as hard as the USMNT in anything.... working hard leads to emotions, period. Sitting on couches, crushing beers in between rounds of Halo on XBox, and calling grown men babies, um, doesn't.
Because obviously. But I wouldn't insinuate that he does the couch potato/xbox/beeer crushing thing either.
Or can you point me in the right direction?!
UN-BE-LIEVABLE!!!!!!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2MltSKo4KuI
its not espn coverage, but it works
that Brian kind of called this? He said this match was like 2002 Ireland-Germany. That game was also decided in stoppage.
UN-BE-LIEVABLE!!!
tears and ejaculate... in a good way this time
way to go boys - helluva game
My medical school lecturer thought we were cheering for her when half the class started yelling at the same time. GO USA!
I would like to point out that Algeria needed to win by two goals to advance.
They spent the entire second half playing defense.
Talk about karma saying "f*** you" to Algeria for playing the "we probably won't win, so let's F over the U.S." card.
